After the dinner, Serena was given a tour by Nightwolf and Kung Lao. While exploring the castle, she began to wonder what was in the West Wing and what Liu Kang was saying.
Nightwolf and Kung Lao try to stop Serena from going into the West Wing, but she gives them the slip.
She soon entered the West Wing, which was the one section of the castle the master ordered her to stay away from.
Serena found the picture of Liu Kang who looked young and handsome when he was a human. He also has Raiden, her parents Sonya and Johnny, and the rest of the Earthrealm warriors in the photo. It was strange how they became enemies after twenty-five years since Liu Kang hated Raiden for so-called treachery.
It was then she happened upon the enchanted rose, but before she touched it, Liu Kang arrived frightening her.
"What are you doing here!?" Liu Kang said in anger. He looked worried and scared as he rushed to protect the enchanted rose.
"What did you do with it!?" Liu Kang shouted.
"Nothing! I'm sorry--"
"Do you realize what you could have done!? You could have damned us all! Get out of here!" Liu Kang yelled, pointing at the door.
Then Serena took off running, leaving Liu Kang scared and depressed.
