Alora's POV

"Oh fuck" I blurt, staring in the long floor length mirror, mostly eyeing the white dress I have on.

"Stop panicking! You are stressing me out" Becca mutters as she fixes the flowy lace skirt of my dress.

I take a deep breath, my hands fidgeting as I keep them loosely by my side. "What if I fall?" I mumble.

"You won't." Quinn, Charlotte, and Harriet all say on cue.

I roll my eyes at that. "You're all married - and not one of you has fallen. Statistically, surely one of us will have to" I mumble.

Becca places her hands on my shoulders and turns me to face her. "If one of us has to fall, then I will take the fall," She swears to me.

That does it... I feel my eyes sting.

"That's the kindest thing you've ever done for me," I mumble. Becca is not even engaged yet, since her and AJ are taking their time, but she's still willing to be the bride to fall down the aisle if it means I don't have to be.

Becca just smiles at me before very gently patting my cheek, careful not to mess up my makeup.

The big long doors to the room we're in slowly open. "Alright ladies - we have ten minutes to go," Diana mumbles, and the second her eyes land on me in my dress, her whole face lights up. She places a hand over her chest. "Oh, Alora- you look stunning".

Natalie, Diana's daughter, suddenly pops her head in, only to grin. "You look cool as fuck Alora".

Diana narrows her eyes. "Natalie" She says in a warning, causing her daughter to let out a huff. "Well cool as hell doesn't serve her justice, mam. Aren't you supposed to be supportive of your niece?".

Diana stares at her before letting out a sigh of defeat. "You look cool as fuck Alora" She tells me as she throws her arm around a now grinning Natalie and tucks her close to her side.

Casey suddenly enters the room. "Alright, people - the wedding starts in less than ten minutes- time to clear out" He says with a clap of his hands.

His eyes then land on me, and a soft smile makes its way to his face. "Nice dress".

Harriet scoffs. "Nice dress?- Jesus Casey, throw some adjectives in there. She looks absolutely amazing" She says, which only makes me laugh.

Quinn looks at me. "Talk to you when you're married" She says with a grin and a small wave.

Harriet then sighs. "I still remember the day you answered Clayton's phone. You were so tiny..." She mumbles. Quinn, who's standing beside her in a matching lilac bridesmaid dress, places a hand over her heart. "You were such adorable toddlers, '' she adds.

"Remember they used to call me 'Hair Net' instead of Harriet?" She sniffled, and Quinn leans into Harriets side as she nods.

Casey groans.

"Save the tears for the actual ceremony. My god- lets go. We do not have all day" He mumbles as he checks the watch on his wrist.

Charlotte laughs. "Wow Alora, you've gotten Harriet all emotional" She says in amazement. Harriet scoffs. "Fuck off- I cry at weddings okay?".

Quinn links arms with her as they both walk out of the room. "Me too, girl. Me too" She sighs.

Charlotte grabs my hands in her own. "I love you" She whispers, making me smile largely. She then makes a heart with her hands before turning and following Harriet and Quinn out.

"Becca, you need to go get ready with the bridesmaids," Casey instructs her.

Becca, my maid of honor, turns to me and gives me a gentle hug. "I love you" She sighs.
