Becca's POV
I park my car in me and Alora's usual spot. As we step out of the car, we immediately spot the four big school buses parked outside the school and the crowd of people around them.
Grabbing our backpacks, we slowly walk over.
It's just turned eight on a Friday morning, and we're off for a two-day camping trip. I haven't quite decided whether I'm dreading this trip or not, but I've decided to be optimistic about it.
Despite the fact, that I don't like camping.
Alora nudges my arm. "There they are," She tells me, before pointing at Lynn and AJ, who are standing outside one of the buses, leaning against it.
As we walk over, I notice Lynn is glaring at AJ, who's holding a rucksack in his hand as well as carrying a black bag over his shoulder, ignoring her glare.
Alora snickers as we stop by them. "What's going on?" Alora asks before I get a chance to.
"This fucker won't give me my bag" Lynn mutters, before hitting AJs arm. He glances at her amused. "It's called being a gentleman" He whispers, his lips forming a small smile while Lynn rolls her eyes. "You're far from a 'gentleman' AJ".
Before anyone else can say something, some teacher with a goddamn megaphone starts yelling at everyone to get on the busses.
Lynn moves to Alora's side and grabs her hand. "Fuck you AJ. I'm switching my bus partner" She announces, dragging Alora away, making her laughs.
I glance back to AJ and see him watching them go. "A gentleman huh?" I say, and his blue eyes crash with mine. "I can carry your bag too if you want?" He offers with a teasing smile, making me snort as I walk away to throw my bag under the bus, AJ following close behind me.
After putting our bags in the bus storage, we get onto the half-empty bus.
I follow AJ down the aisle as we look for seats. Lynn sticks out her foot to trip AJ when we walk passed, but he steps over it and slaps her head instead.
She scowls, while me and Alora share a look, holding back our laughs.
We get seats near the back, and AJ sits by the window while I'm by the aisle. The bus slowly fills up over the next few minutes, before they start calling a roll call.
"Are you excited?" I ask, turning to AJ. I have a feeling he's only here because Lynn wanted to go. He doesn't seem like the type to enjoy school trips.
AJ leans his head back against the seat, and he simply groans in response.
I smile at him amused. "I'm sure we'll have fun" I assure him. "Highley disagree" He mumbles in response, his eyes already closed.
I slap his arm. "Don't be so negative" I tell him. He simply sighs in response, making me roll my eyes playfully just as the bus begins to move.

Alora's POV
I stare at my phone screen- more importantly, the empty battery sign, in a slight state of shock.
Lynn, who sits beside me in the aisle seat, laughs at me. "You look horrified" She snickers.
"I am" I mumble, not sure what to do. I need my phone. For emotional support.
Lynn continues to laugh at me. "Well my phone is working perfectly-" Her smile fades instantly as she trails off.
Her jaw then clenches, as she screws her eyes shut and leans her head back against the seat, groaning. "It's working perfectly, in my bag at the bottom of the bus" She mumbles, and this time I'm the one to laugh.
