Years later, Scarlet's brother Christian tries to protect Scarlet and when he catches scarlet and Vince arguing he steps in.

Christian Kincaid was wandering the bar area until he looked over and saw Vince Schneider, he was arguing with Scarlet who seemed pretty heated about the fact that he was yelling at her. He got in the middle. "Is there a problem here?" Christian rudely asked, fists clenched at his sides. His sister looked over wide eyed as she begged him not to intervene. "Everything's fine," Scarlet lied as she tried to ease Vince up a bit. Christian cocked his head to the side letting out a dry laugh before grabbing Vince by his throat and dragging him out of the bar, slamming him up against the bar. "what's your intentions with my sister you creep," He grabbed Vince by the throat and he lets out a little choked off gasp, immediately stifled by the bruising pressure. He can feel his pulse hammer under the pads of Christian's grip. "Speak when spoken to." He growls, squeezing at his throat even tighter until Scarlet placed a hand on Christian's shoulder. Urging him to let Vince go.
With an angered sigh, Christian lets go.
Vince takes a huge gulp of air and lets out a hacking cough, gasping for air as Scarlet helps Vince up, followed by Christian leaving them behind.
"Uncle Roman would be displeased with your choices Scarlet." He says before disappearing in the veil of night.
And yet, trouble still called for the couple.
