Vince barely had gone out ever since the murders happened last year, he always tried to avoid the public or any socializing in general but that changed once Scarlet, his girlfriend dragged him to a frat party with the others and that's when he met a boy with brown curly hair and brown eyes wearing a Halloween costume. He smiled, nursing his own alcoholic beverage. Scarlet smiles politely at Luke, "Luke, this is my boyfriend Vince," she says with a smile.

"Vince, this is Luke."

When Scarlet introduced him Luke smiled politely.
"Nice to meet you dude."

He looked both of them before looking away, a small frown tugged at his lips as he felt a pang of guilt. His sweet sister.

Vince nursed his own drink, looking at Luke who seemed pretty bummed. "you okay?"

For a split second, Luke was surprised that Vince had picked up on this, but he quickly recomposed himself. He waved his hand dismissively.

"Yeah, I'm fine." He said, managing a small smile. "Just.. last month was the 1st anniversary of my sisters death.." Luke said, lowering his gaze as he kept to himself.

For a split second, Vince thought of opening up about himself, but he quickly changed his mind, recomposing himself. "You wanna talk about it?"

"Well, she died in a car accident.." He said, managing a small sigh. "They said it was a hit and run."

Luke immediately perked up as did Vince once Anika sauntered over to tell Chad that he's needed.

"Excuse me," he says, following Anika and Mindy over to the scene where Chad is fighting someone to stick up for Tara who was shitfaced.

Vince put his hands on his hips, scoffing. "And this is why I don't socialize."

Luke couldn't help but find a bit of humor in Vince's words. "What? People getting into a random fight is the reason you don't socialize?" He asked with a smirk.

Vince couldn't help but shrug at Luke's laugh. "Well yeah, I always feel like the outcast when I socialize and I feel like that's always gonna happen.."

Luke's facial expression softened a bit as Vince spoke. He could tell that the other boy was genuinely feeling troubled. He offered a sympathetic smile.

"You don't strike me as the 'outcast' type," he said. "I mean, I think you seem pretty cool."

Vince's facial expression softened a bit as Luke spoke. "uh.. thanks," he says as he sips at his glass of whiskey until Chad walked over towards Luka. "we gotta go, Tara's sister just lost her shit.."

"Ah, alright," said Luke, slightly disappointed. He'd been enjoying talking to Vince and had hoped they could keep talking, but he understood that dealing with drunken friends was probably a higher priority at the moment. He took one last glance around the party, the loud music and tipsy people overwhelming him a bit.
