Ava's POV:

Upon sunny days I close my eyes to bath in the gentle warmth, and allow myself to immerse in the memories of the past. A sweet uplifting sensation soak my soul, no matter how damaged it may be.

When I opened my eyes, the clear blue sky greeted me.

A soft hand squeezes on top of mine, and I look over.

"I cannot believe this is happening," Winnie said. "This is really happening!" Her breathing quickened.

I laugh softly and rub her arm with my free hand, "Calm down."

"Calm down? Calm down?!" She looks at me with crazy eyes, "We're graduating college Ava!" She grab my arms and shake me, "I'm graduating college! You know how many people in my family goes to college?!"

"I'm not s-"

"None! Zero!" She tilts her head, "Well, as far as I know." Winnie shakes her body, "No! Don't freak out! You don't have time to freak out! You have to." She pauses and looks around the room, "Where is my bow! Where is my graduation bow!"

I burst out laughing when she started turning the bedroom upside down to find a bow that was clearly on her head.

Unlike others, I decided to go local and stay at home. In the past, I would've been ecstatic to move away and get that college experience, but now, all I want is to spend time with my family.

My parents were concerned with my decision, but they didn't question it.

They told me to do what makes me happy.

Unlike me, Trevon decided to chase love and accepted a college two hours away from Mina. Mina pretended she didn't care, but from her response, I can tell she's happy.

Ah, young love.

Seth decided to leave the state for college. Something about wanting to clear his thoughts. We exchange messages and meet once in a while.

Mary got accepted to a school in Pennsylvania - about 4 hours and 12 minutes away from Logan. She's chasing both her career and love.

On the other hand, Shelbie got accepted to her dream school about 1,500 miles away. She decided to put herself first and listen to her head, not her heart. If it's meant to be, she'll meet Colton again.

Ben also got accepted into his dream school but tried to hide it. He wanted to go local with Winnie. She gave him the silent treatment until he accepted the offer. The school is 2,345 miles away. Winnie cried every night for six weeks until Ben left.

Eli...

"Where is my bow?!"

Near the end of our high school graduation, Winnie received a gift from her mom. It was a custodial account, a private bank account she could access when she turned 18.

Winnie used the money to go to college with me.

"How are you not freaking out?!" Winnie screamed.

I may not look like it, but I am quite anxious. In my last life, I quit school halfway to be with Luke, but this time I didn't.

I want to puke.

"Well, it makes sense for you to not be nervous since you got a job laid out."

Throughout college, I used my networking skills, and in my third year, I landed a job at a pharmaceutical company. I don't work as a pharmacist but in sales.

My line of work pretty much matches my personality; at least, that's what the big boss said.

"But, here I am... no job offer," Winnie crashes down on her bed. Four years of school and not a single job offer." She presses her face against the pillow and screams. Two seconds later, her bow falls to her face, and she says, "Oh, there's my bow."
