The Greene Kitchen, early morning...

"So you're telling me water eroded the Grand Canyon but it can't get these scrambled eggs off this pan?" Tucker huffed, under his breath as he stood at the sink. "Bullshit."

"Leave that pan there for a thousand years and it will be eroded all right." Herschel spoke as he emerged from the living room. He wore a soft smile on his face and Tucker's remark had made his daughter erupt in a fit of giggles. "You also watch your mouth in the house, young man."

"Yes sir,"

"I don't know what kind of reverse patriarchy this is, but don't make Tucker do all the dishes, Bethy." The man continued, eyeing his daughter who merely stood by the sink with bubbled hands.

"I'm helpin' Daddy, don't worry." She promised. Elle and Rory both nodded and vouched for her claim.

"She's helping, but there's no need. We can take care of the dishes." Mrs. Adams insisted.

"There's plenty of chores to go around on a farm, believe me." Herschel sighed with a smile. "How are you feeling?" He directed the phrase to Tuck.

"A lot better, less sore on my abdomen and feel less winded doing day to day things." Tucker responded, handed the wet dishes to his sister to have them dried.

"Good, I'm glad. I don't want you to push yourself too hard but if you feel you are ready I will clear you to help with the search. Rick has been asking me when you will be able to help," Tucker's face lit up at the man's proclamation. He had been waiting for Herschel to let him out and help, he promised Carol after all, that he would find Sophia if it was the last thing he ever did.

"Thank you sir, I will go easy don't worry." He grinned and accidentally dropping a bowl back into the sink of sudsy water. A floof of white soap floated into the air and landed down on the counter and the people in its vicinity.

"I don't know what you did before all this, but I sure hope it wasn't a dishwasher." Beth laughed, wiping the bubbles from the counter.

"You're right, I played baseball and worked at Chick-Fil-A." Tucker shrugged as he handed the last dish to Elle.

"You kinda worked at Chick-Fil-A, you only got hired there because of me." Elle added, drying the dishes and putting them back in their respective places.

"I thought you worked at a pharmacy?" Herschel questioned, wondering how her medicinal knowledge was so grand if she worked at a fast food restaurant.

"I started at the pharmacy when I was a senior, but I worked at Chick-Fil-A for most of high school." Elle explained.

"It was a great learning experience for both of them." Rory admitted.

"Hey! I'm going out with Shane today." Andrea popped into the house in search of sister.
