The Ghost Town Off The I-89, late morning....

Elle's head rested against Glenn's back as they slowly trotted into town. The horse Maggie had saddled for them was named Roxie, she was a senior mare. The least likely for them to have a problem with.

Though something in Elle thought that maybe Maggie wouldn't have cared if she got bucked off by a horse. Nonetheless, they bounced gently into town, every now and then Glenn would glance down at the map Herschel drew for them.

He said it would be hard to miss the pharmacy as it was one of the bigger buildings in the area. It also was painted white, a stark contrast to the dull brown shade of the rest of the city.

"I heard you two fighting." Glenn spoke over the lull clicking of Roxie's hooves.

"Mhm, don't think she likes me much." Elle admitted, her head laid against his back and her arms tight around his waist. The sun was hot today but after Elle's nasty Atlanta sunburn faded to a tan, she found herself enjoying the sunshine.

"She's silly not to,"

"A lot of people don't like me, Glenn, I'd say you're the odd one out."

"I think everyone likes you, it's you who doesn't like everyone else." Glenn shrugged, a smile adorned his face though Elle couldn't see it.

"Maybe so," The blonde sighed, "but I like you so consider yourself lucky."

"Lucky indeed, but I agree with you. She shouldn't have been fighting over something like that."

"And you didn't want to jump in and say so? No one else had my back 'cept maybe Daryl. But he doesn't really say much." Elle huffed, looking up at the white building with the huge prescription bottle sign.

Hill Valley Pharmacy, since 1948.

"Don't want her to hate me too, someone had to get the horse." Glenn laughed, pulling the reins slightly and gently coming to a stop. Elle slid off the mare before Glenn followed suit.

"Here it is, the pharmacy... my happy place."

"You're such a nerd."

"This place is a ghost town, it doesn't look infested like the city did." Elle chimed in, glancing at the unlocked door and the sign taped through the inside of the glass.

Please, take what you need. God bless.

"No, this is much different." Glenn agreed, his hand held the lead of the horse tightly as they pulled open the door. "It's like everyone just disappeared."

"What are you doing? You can't take a horse into the pharmacy." Elle laughed, her big smile crawling onto her face.

"Why not? Can't leave her out here,"

"She's a horse?" Elle rebutted.

"And? If the walkers come? Herschel would kill us if we let his horse get eaten." Glenn reasoned, looking at Elle with a soft smile.
