Hatlon's Bar, late at night...
"Dave! Tony! Come on, where are you?" The voice called.
"I'm telling ya' they went a street over." Another one disagreed.
"Their cars are right here dumbass."
"They walked... this place is a ghost town. I bet they're pulling loot outta here like crazy."
"They wouldn't have left their gear."
"Dave and Tony missing out on a bar? I'll believe that when I see it. I bet they're in there." A man grumbled, Elle looked cautiously over at Rick and held up four fingers.
She could easily pinpoint at least four voices, but that didn't rule out the silent members. Elle wanted to just turn around and peek out of the glass panes but she knew better. Instead, she tried to use the reflection off of the wall stacked with alcohol bottles.
"Dave! Tony!"
"Why won't they leave?" Glenn whispered as Rick sighed.
"Let's head out the back and make a run for the car." He suggested as a few stray bullets made Elle jump.
"What happened?" One of the men asked.
"Roamers, I got them."
"Look, we cleared those buildings and didn't see'em. You guys get this one?" Elle tallied up the extra voices in her head. Looking over to Rick and showing three more fingers.
"Not yet, Caleb was being smart. Trying to convince us that Dave and Tony of all people aren't in the goddamn bar." The voice scoffed.
"Why aren't they answering then? Smartass." The man defended.
"Alright! Dave, Ton', if ya' don't answer we're coming in... and you better not be blackout drunk already." A stern voice yelled before bringing his hand down and pounding on the wooden door.
"Holy shit," Glenn huffed, the rattle banging his head against the door a few times. The door handle turned— putting Elle on edge as she grabbed her gun tighter— and began to be pushed open. Glenn hurriedly slammed his back against it, holding it shut.
"Hey, someone pushed it shut." The man muttered.
"Hey! If someone's in there we don't want no trouble. We're just looking for our friends." He advertised, Rick worried about the number of men that were on the opposite side of that door.
"How many you think are in there?"
"There's no telling."
"Hey! We do not want any trouble!" The voice yelled again. "We're only looking for our friends, if something happened, tell us. This place is crawling with corpses. If you could help us not get killed, I'd appreciate it." His voice was nasally with a classic Brooklyn accent. Part of Glenn felt a little bad, knowing how far they had to travel to get here.
