The Greene's Farmhouse, morning...

"Well, you were right. He most definitely has a blood infection. Almost septic if I believe so," Herschel spoke as he looked at T-Dog's laceration. "The stitches helped but the lack of antibiotics and the sun is what got you, if she hadn't stitched you it would've been much worse." He continued as he cleaned the cut really well and put gauze pads on. Taping over the sterile bandages before wrapping the entire site with Co-Band.

"I took an antibiotic. What did Daryl call it?" T-Dog looked over at Glenn, he sat next to Elle on the couch. Her head dropped to his shoulder while his arm rest around her protectively. Her exhaustion had finally taken over her since she hadn't slept a wink all night. Her mind too alive with rogue thoughts and worries for her unconscious brother.

She had slept maybe a half hour on Glenn's lap before sitting up violently with nightmares. Heaving gasps left her body as Glenn consoled her again. Idly chatting with her all night until she was lulled into a sleep like state, but not a restful one at that.

Rory Adams, however, was passed out on the spare bedroom floor, the stress from the surgery and giving so many blood transfusions had taken it out of her. Though, by some miracle it seemed like the boys were going to be alright. After a long haul of a night, the light at the end of the eternal tunnel slowly shone through.

"Doxycycline," Glenn answered, which perked Elle's attention. Her blue eyes moving quickly as her mind raced.

"He gave you Doxy for a blood infection?"

"Said it was good shit, class one or something." T mumbled, hissing at the cut when Herschel pulled the bandage tight.

"No swearing in the house," Patricia reminded, contrary to her teasing manner when the survivors first got there. Her voice had dropped to a solemn tone, her body like a huge cumulonimbus cloud. Bringing gloom wherever she went once she had been told about her husband.

And it took every ounce of love she had for her family for Elle to keep her mouth shut while Shane went on and on about how Otis was the biggest hero. It was a load of bullshit is what it was. Fucking bullshit.

"Doxycycline isn't a tier one antibiotic, and it's not for blood infections. The only thing it's gonna do to you right now is make you more susceptible to a sunburn." Elle rattled off, looking between T and Herschel. "Unless you suddenly have an upper respiratory infection, then it might do you some good."

"You some kinda drug dealer or something?"

"I'm a Pharmacy technician, you need some Septra DS or some Augmentin, even some Keflex would be better than Doxy." She continued, sitting up straight and scoffing at the unintelligent choice.

"Well here, take your pick Pharmacy Technician." Maggie sneered, tossing the bag of drugs that Shane had brought into her lap.

Elle winced slightly as the heavy bag hit her bruised legs before rifling through the medication. "Here, take this twice daily for ten days with some food." She threw a white bottle at T-Dog.
