Atlanta Camp, evening time...

"Woohee! Where did you girls learn to fish like that?" Dale shouted appreciatively as Andrea, Amy, and Rory came walking up from the quarry several dozen fish loaded up on a fish stringer.

"Our dad taught us!" Amy smiled, a wide grin matching both of her sister's faces.

"Grandpa never taught me to fish like that," Tucker muttered, looking at the intense amount of fish his mother was carrying.

"Should've came on the boat with me," Rory added, swinging her fish stringer towards her children.

"Ew!" Elle giggled, leaning away while her brother just let the fish slap him in the face. "Tucker, that's disgusting."

"Ew, Tucker, that's disgusting!" He mocked her words in a girly tone.

"Wow, ladies! Round of applause, these gals just fed us dinner!" Shane hollered, starting a round of claps to echo through the camp. Rory, Andrea, and Amy just smiled, hanging their fish up on the clothesline until they were ready to be fried.

"It was all Dale, his fishing stuff." Andrea nodded to the elderly man.

"Oh, I haven't used that stuff in years. It was your talents that will be appreciated by the masses." Dale laughed, his grin brighter than ever. It was days like this that made the Atlanta Camp bearable. Sure, he missed a soft bed and freshly brewed coffee in the morning, but a smile like that on those girls? Unbeatable.

"Ellie," Andi whispered, urging her niece up in the RV with her. The younger blonde hopped up from the ground and skipped off, stepping up into the camper.

"Yes?"

"Look, I found it in Atlanta. It'll be perfect for her birthday, it's tomorrow." Andrea spoke in a hushed tone, showcasing the silver necklace with a mermaid pendant.

"Oh my god, she will love that!" Elle squealed, immediately beginning to look through drawers and cupboards for any kind of gift bag.

"What're you girls looking for?" Dale piped up as he entered his motorhome.

"Wrapping paper, gift bags, tissue paper?" Ellie answered, leaning back so Andi could reach the top shelf for her.

"Sorry, if I knew the world was ending I'd have packed better." Dale sighed.

"It's Amy's birthday tomorrow, I've been marking days," Andrea explained, holding out the mermaid necklace for Dale to get a good look at. He smiled at the gift before putting his glasses on and getting an even closer look. "You don't give a gift unwrapped, ever. Apocalypse or not."

"Deep breaths, I'm sure I'll find something." He assured her, Andi nodded and took a breath. Letting the necklace make its way back to her pocket.

"We better go help set up for dinner," Elle spoke, looking out the screen door to see the members of their camp pulling chairs around the campfire. Andi and Dale nodded, following her out the door and over to the firepit.
