The Greene Family Farm, evening...

"Come on, right inside. My dad's got them in the guest room." Maggie ushered the women inside. Rory and Lori clung to each other as they walked hand in hand but Elle? Her mind was running a thousand miles an hour as she stalked in the house. Vision going blurry because all she saw was red. Her blood scalding hot as all she could concentrate on was Tucker... well more like the dumb-fuck who shot him.

"Are you Lori?" A teenager asked, holding the door open for the women. Her wavy blonde hair tucked behind her ear neatly. She looked kind and sweet, someone Elle probably would've liked to get to know under any other circumstances. But right now she paid no mind to the girl, looking away from her without saying a word.

"I am, where's Rick?" Lori stressed, her brown eyes were alive with worry. It was evident that her post traumatic response was due to Rick's injury only months prior.

"He and Shane are in the living room. Herschel and Patricia are still stabilizing the boys." The blonde girl continued finally locking eyes with the other blonde teenager whom stomped into the house angrily. Following Lori into the foyer as she looked at her husband. "What about Rory, and Elle..." Her voice trailed off as she ended up following the women into the foyer.

"Elle," Rick spoke softly, wondering if she was going to be consolable or not. The expression written plain as day on her face said otherwise. "Ellie, come here," He beckoned her. "Let me explain something to you."

"Where's that bitch who shot my brother?!" She demanded, searching Shane and Rick's faces for any kind of information. "Where is he?! I know it wasn't one of you two and Tucker can be pretty dumb but he sure as hell didn't shoot himself. Or Carl, that's for damn sure." She fumed.

"I didn't see them, I swear." A man spoke as he walked in the room. He was quite heavy set and made the floorboards creak. "I was tracking a buck and... I didn't see them until it was too late."

"Oh? You didn't see them?" Elle spat sarcastically, interrupting the man's sorry excuse. Her hands bunched tightly at her sides, what was left of her nails digging angry crescents into her palms. "You were tracking a buck and just didn't see them. My brother is six feet tall, I don't know what kinda deer you were tracking. Must've been a big one," Elle sneered.

"Yeah, you didn't hear the thud of the first bullet and decided to shoot another one." Shane agreed, standing up quickly when Elle pushed herself against the man. He could smell her aggression from a mile away. He was beyond angry at the turn of events but that was no reason to assault the man.

Elle huffed in anger backing the unknown assailant all the way to the wall before she shook the house with her force. The sound of the heavy man slamming against the wall made the pictures rattle. It was a miracle none of them had fallen to the ground and shattered.

Jesus, this girl was stronger than she looked.

"How did it happen?" Elle growled, gun suddenly in her hand. That sound made Shane and Rick jump to their feet, hands out in defense and shock across their faces. The blonde didn't even look at them, held the pistol with a firm grip and pulled the hammer back. It's barrel finding it's way to the side of the man's neck. "Tell me! Tell me why you tried to kill my brother! And I don't want your shitty hunting story."
