CHAPTER 27

" Pwede bang mag-usap tayo?" Inis na sabi ko kay kian pagkalabas namin ng office.
 
" Sure, but not now..I have to go excuse me." Seryosong saad nito bago ako tinalikuran.

" God!" Inis na bulong ko sa sarili pagkaalis nito.

I was about to confront him about everything he stated during our meeting with one of our bosses. Hindi niya na dapat na sinabi pa iyon. Why? Because it's useless at isa pa hindi nga nila na pansin na we had a past eh so why bother to share?

I canceled all my shoot for today because today is divine & Vincent wedding. I wore the emerald green fitted tube long dress they sent me to wear on her wedding day. I immediately went to the venue where the wedding will be happening. It was a not a church wedding but instead a beach wedding that's why the moment I arrived, I immediately went to the seaside to feel the fresh air coming from the sea.

Divine told me that vincent understand my situation as a celebrity that's why the places was exclusive only for the guest and friends and  there's no other people in the place. When the event has started, seeing devi's slowly walking towards vincent makes me already cry. She was walking wearing her dream wedding gown designed by a famous fashion designer here in the country. She just so beautiful and flawless until she finally reach the aisle. The beautiful view coming from the sea just added extra magical to the ceremony. It was just beautiful. Everything is perfect.

" Sinong maniniwala na iyong first boyfriend ko ang mapapangasawa ko? I'm very very thankful and glad to marry someone like you, a man with wisdom and vision in life, a man who I thought would likely to cheat because you are that kind of man dahil sa mukha mong babaero but I was wrong because this man in front of me never cheated and never hurted me.." As devi's speech continues, I didn't noticed that my eyes was already full of tears. I was about to find a tissue on my table when a man suddenly offer his handkierchief on me.

" Here," saad ni kian habang hawak hawak ang panyo na agad ko namang kinuha sa kaniya.

"T-thanks," maikling sabi ko dito bago binalik ang tingin ko sa harapan.

There's so much running in my head like why he's here but a sudden realization hit me again as I realized that he is still my cousin's friend. If I just have other choice kanina ay hindi ko tatanggapin ang panyo na binigay niya. How could he attend devi's wedding when he also left them 5 years ago. But maybe they still have a connections without me. I remember we had a friends gc that we made during our first year consisting of me, kian, devi, ricky and jodie but I left the group chat after he left.

I left the group chat while he left the country, nice!

After the ceremony ay dumiretso muna ako sa hotel to rest for a while dahil ilang oras din akong nagdrive mag-isa papunta dito. It was already 6pm in the evening when I wake up. I received 20+ missed calls from devi, jodie and ricky and some of the texts that I received containing,

' Sis 6pm start ng party saan kana.' - jodie

' Bumababa ka na lang daw sabi ni devi pagkagising mo sleep well insan!' - Ricky

I hurriedly stand up and headed to the bathroom to take a quick shower before I went downstair. I wore a backless dress with a denim short while my hair is tied up.

" Singkit pa mata mo sab halatang kakagising lang ah." Bungad na saad ni ricky.

"Nakalimutan ko mag alarm am-hi!" Agad kong nilapitan ang girlfriend ni ricky dahil niyakap din agad ako nito.

" Hi! I'm your fan! Omg!" Masayang saad nito dahilan para mas lalo niyang nahigpitan ang pagkakayakap sa akin.

" Babe tama na 'yan, hindi na makahinga si sab." Singit ni ricky at hiniwalay ang girlfriend niya sa akin.
