Mihir's POV
It was early morning and I went out for a jog as I could not stay in the room sitting beside her on the bed. I deliberately took a lot of time to go back. I was trying to assess feelings for her. Once I got back to my room, I saw her coming out of the bathroom wearing a bathrobe.
What the hell!!!
I deliberately came late so that I didn't have to find her in the room. I wanted to stay as far away as possible, especially after last night. She saw me and stopped right there. Her face started gaining color all of a sudden.
What is her problem?? Why does she start blushing all of a sudden?
But it tickled something in me that she was blushing looking at me. Oh God!
I need to get away.
" Sorry, but the bathroom is free for you to use. " She said and I nodded. I went to the bathroom and took a quick shower as I wanted to go to work.
When I came out of the bathroom I saw her trying to tie the string of her dress at her back. The dress had a deep back and her creamy silky smooth skin was showing.
Why the hell was she wearing something like that?
I got ready and was about to go out when she asked me hesitantly, " Can you, please..."
" No, I can't! Don't wear such clothes if you can't handle them yourself. " I said and I rushed downwards but I could not help thinking how her smooth skin felt under my hand last night.
Well, you should have tied those strings and found out again. An inner voice said.
No!! Shut up!
What the hell!!!
Mom saw me coming and asked me to join them for breakfast. Dad had already started eating.
" Come, have breakfast. " Mom said and started serving me. I was surprised to see that there were a lot of my favorite dishes for breakfast.
I started eating with a Gusto and mom asked me to eat slowly, but I said that everything was very good, and my appetite increased all of a sudden. Mom looked at Dad and they both smiled.
Why were they behaving strangely?
I was just thinking all that when Tami came downstairs and went to the pooja room first and joined after 2 minutes. Mom asked her to take the chair next to me.
Her light floral fragrance was hitting my nostrils and felt very pleasant.
Ignore it! I said to myself.
I looked at her back and saw that it was not done properly.
She can't even get ready properly before breakfast.
" Sorry, beta, I could not wait for you to come, so I started. " Dad said. He didn't say that to me.
" It is perfectly fine with me, Dad. I am sorry, for being late. Actually, my classmate called up and told me that our result might be declared today itself. So, I have to go to college. " She explained.
" Really?? Great! All the best! " Mom said.
" Mihir, take her to college and see if her result is declared or not. " Dad said.
" No, I have a meeting within an hour. " I said having breakfast. It was really very nice.
" I will handle the meeting. You are going with her. " Dad said firmly. I was annoyed but since the food was very good, I didn't want to spoil my mood.
" Thanks, for the very tasty breakfast, Beta. Make something new every day. " Dad said to her, she smiled and said, "It's my pleasure. I am glad you liked it, I will surely do that."
She made all that???
Why was she making my favorite dishes? She is trying to come closer... I have to do something. Maybe I have to remind her that we are not meant for each other and however she may try, she will never get me.
I finished my breakfast and was ready to go, she also got up so that I didn't have to wait, but Mom asked me to wait till she finished her breakfast.
" It's okay, Mom, he has to go back to the office later on. I should have got ready in time. "
" You made such a nice breakfast and made all his favorite dishes, he can at least wait for a few minutes so that you can have breakfast. " Mom said and made her finish her breakfast.
Her phone started ringing again.
