" Dad, please stop it. Well, the atmosphere is getting very emotional, c'mon everyone, show me your smiles, or I will... " She said with fake anger and raised eyebrows.
" You will what? " Manik bhai asked with a smile.
" I will give you good news, and the smile will follow automatically. " She said raising her shoulders and smiling.
" Good news?? What is it? " Mom asked.
" Mom, Dad, you are going to be promoted very soon, we are going to have another member in the family." She said with a brilliant smile.
" What? How? When? " Bhai said looking absolutely shocked. Even Mom and Dad looked shocked.
" We got to know today itself." She said with a smile. She was oblivious to what others were thinking.
" Mihir, I know that we both also wanted to make babies when Chachu once joked about making babies at the time Chachi was pregnant with Mahi, and we even asked Chachu how to do it... But isn't it too soon? What is the hurry? It is so soon... " Bhai said and I saw Tami turning red hearing what he assumed.
" Bhai!! Stop it! She is telling you about Mahi. Our little princess is pregnant. " I corrected him.
" What?? Really? " Mom and Dad smiled happily.
" Oh, my god!! Sorry... But that is such a good news. " Bhai said.
" Yes, they got to know today itself and were going to tell you in the evening. But since everyone was getting so sad and worried, I broke the news. " Tami said.
" Call my princess here, I want to talk to her. " Dad said. Mom called her immediately and blessed her and the baby on the phone. She asked about Dad first and then Nani.
They said that they were coming to meet Dad.

In the evening they came to meet Dad and he looked very happy to see them. Mahi was looking happy to see Dad. He was talking very lovingly to Ron and Mahi.
But he didn't even look at me. He was really upset with me.
All his friends came to meet him one by one and as doctors, we would not have allowed so many visitors but everyone turned a blind eye to it because of Dad.
Once all the visitors were gone, they served food to Dad and gave them medicine. Dad slept under the effects of medicines.
I asked everyone to go home. Mom wanted to stay there, bhai and I insisted she go back but she made us go home.
I didn't want Dad to tell Mom about divorce papers. I didn't want her to suffer as well. I was already feeling guilty for my dad's condition, I would not be able to live if mom... No!!
But I could not help it. She stayed there and we came back. She asked the servants to serve the food as soon as we entered the home. Bhai went to his room to freshen up and once food was served, she rushed upstairs.
Coming back in about 5 minutes, she started packing some food.
" What are you doing? " I asked. But she didn't bother to reply.
" Tami!! Tell me. " But instead of answering, she kept adding hot food to the containers.
" What is going on? Tami, what are you doing? " Bhai came back wearing a kurta pajama.
" Bhai, I am taking some food for mom to eat. " She replied. Why could she not tell that to me?
" But I already told the staff to provide food for mom. " I said but she didn't react.
" Are you listening?? " But no reply.
" Tami, what happened?? Why are you not listening? " Bhai asked as he could also see that she was not paying heed to what I was saying.
" Bhai, Mom will not eat food like that. She is too upset at the moment and she would not like that food. " She replied to him.
" But they serve very good food to the person who is attending the patient. She would get good quality restaurant-style food. The food is packed by reputed food joints" I said.
" Exactly! That food is restaurant-style. Bhai, I am taking homemade food for her. " She said looking at Bhai.
What was that behaviour?? Was I invisible and inaudible to her?
" Fine, I will take it for her. " I said and stretched my hand but she turned all of a sudden, taking the food away.
How childish!!
