❤️please read the previous chapter that I posted last evening. Many readers didn't get the notification. So I am posting this new chapter as well. But will post next once the target is met in both the books, i.e. 225 in both the chapters separately.

I have started Gautam and Maurvi's book in GN in continuation of Tami's book.

Tami's POV

He didn't say anything but Dad grinned. “That’s great! You’ll do amazing, Tami. That young man seems to be pretty good. It's good that you already know each other so well. ” he said, I nodded and looked at Mihir through my eyelashes. He was still annoyed.

But why?? Was he annoyed with Parshav? He seemed to flinch at the mere mention of his name. But why?

Was he ... jealous?

No, what absurd... He wanted a divorce, why would he be jealous of my friend?

As I left the hospital that evening, I reflected on how much had changed in such a short time. Despite the challenges, I felt a renewed sense of purpose. I was here to help others, just as I had always dreamed. And with my family’s support, I knew I could face whatever came my way.

The next week was a whirlwind. Dad wanted to get discharged from the hospital but since Mom was still in Surat, my Dad and Vikram uncle insisted that he stay at the hospital.

Each day brought new patients and new challenges. With Parshav’s guidance, I tailored many nutritional plans to meet the specific needs of each patient. He was demanding, but his high standards pushed me to excel. Though I was assigned to the gynecology department, I worked with patients from various departments, at Sandhya Aunty and Vikram uncle's request, each case unique and requiring a different approach.

One of the most memorable cases was a young girl recovering from surgery. She had lost a lot of weight and was struggling to regain her strength. I spent hours researching the best foods to help her recover and worked closely with her and her family to create meals that were both nutritious and appealing. Watching her regain her energy and start to thrive was incredibly rewarding.

Outside of work, I continued to cook for Mihir's father, Parshav, and Mihir, though mihir refused to eat a few times I always cooked for him as well. Most of the time, Parshav came to join us for breakfast and asked for Mihir's share too if Mihir had refused to eat it. Even Vihan had his share of food if he was also there on the rounds at that time.

Preparing Dad's meals became a comforting routine, a way to unwind after long days at the hospital. Mihir's father’s health improved steadily, and it was a relief to see him getting stronger each day.

Mihir, true to his word, balanced his time between the hospital and our family business. He was handling the pressure well, and I admired his resilience. Dad often made us discuss our days over dinner, sharing stories about our respective challenges and triumphs.

Sagrika and I remained close, supporting each other through the ups and downs of our internships. We met up whenever we could, sharing tips and encouraging each other. Her experience with Siddh was different from mine with Parshav, Siddh was a very serious man while Parshav was a very jovial person but we both learned valuable lessons from our mentors.

*********

I was making the diet plans when my phone started ringing.

I saw that it was Mihir, but before I could say anything on the phone, Dr Rajvanshi took the phone and said, " Dr Shah, I hope you remember that these are working hours. I am sorry but you need to wait to talk to Ms Gautami. Call her during the break or when she is free.  " He said and disconnected the phone call.

" It must have been important or he would not have called me. " I explained to him expecting him to give my phone back and telling me to call Mihir back.

"  I am sorry, but Dr. Shah was trying to teach me how to behave while we are on duty. So I need to remind him of that as well. You need to complete this food plan for my patient, she really needs to watch her diet. Please make it. She will be here anytime. " He said.

I nodded and completed it in less than 5 minutes as I needed to call Mihir back. But as soon as I finished and handed the plan over to his patient, my phone started ringing again.

Dr Rajvanshi saw the screen and gave it to me immediately.

I was surprised to see Dad calling me. Excusing myself, I went aside and took the call, " Yes, Dad?? What happened? "

" Can you come to meet me immediately, it is an emergency. "

" What happened are you alright? Shall I call Vikram uncle, my dad, or Mihir? "

" Just come soon. " He said and disconnected the call.

" Oh, god!! I need to go, there is some emergency. " I said and rushed to Dad's room.

I opened the door and bumped into a strong wall.

Who the hell made the wall in front of the door?? Shit!
