Tami's POV

" What is this about drawing circles, Roohi? " Raj ji asked, even though I was curious to know it as all four of them were still laughing especially Mihir and Gaurvi. But Roohi changed the topic. The bottle was rotated again and it finally stopped, pointed towards Raj ji.

He was asked to reveal the most romantic thing he had ever done for Myra, and his answer brought a blush to her cheeks, she shook her head but Raj told everyone how he took her to a romantic outing and proposed to her all over again after their wedding.  All of them were surprised that the shy Raj could go to such lengths to impress his wife.

The bottle was rolled again and this time it was Gauravi's turn, Ron asked her to describe the moment of their love story when she knew that it was Shlok who she wanted to spend her life with.

" There were countless such moments, he saved my life so many times, and fought fiercely to save my life,  but when we were caught in a very dangerous landslide and he saved me without caring for his life I thought that we both would die now and never be able to see our families. He saved me once again. I owed my life to him. If he was not there, I would have died then and there. I am thankful to god that Shlok joined the trip. " She said getting emotional. Shlok hugged her. I looked at Mihir, but he didn't give any reaction.

Next, it was Mihir’s turn. He chose truth, and Ron Jiju asked him to describe his idea of a perfect date. Mihir hesitated, glancing at me before answering.

"A quiet dinner with a very beautiful backdrop under the stars, with someone who understands me more than anyone else can," he said looking at me, his voice soft.

My heart skipped a beat. Was he talking about me?

The game continued, and soon it was Parshav’s turn. He chose to dare, and Ron Jiju dared him to dance with someone who was someone else's wife. Parshav immediately looked at me and smiled.

"Tami, may I have this dance?" he asked, extending his hand.

I felt Mihir’s grip tighten on my hand, I halted, but I didn't want to be rude. I nodded and got up, joining Parshav on the makeshift dance floor. The music started, and we began to dance. Parshav was charming and made me laugh with his playful moves, but I couldn't shake the feeling of Mihir's eyes on us.

As the song ended, I thanked Parshav and turned to see Mihir standing up, his expression dark with something dangerous. Without a word, he came to me, held my hand, and led me away from the group.

"Let's go back to our room," he said, his voice tense.

" Hey, Mihir... That's not fair... We are still playing the game. " Ron called out.

"We are tired, time to sleep. Goodnight." Mihir replied without looking back.

I followed him, surprised by the intensity of his reaction.

As soon as Mihir and I crossed the threshold, his eyes blazed with anger. Once we were inside our room, he closed the door and leaned against it, taking a deep breath.

The door closed behind us with a heavy thud, the sound echoing the turmoil inside my heart. The room was heavy with the weight of unspoken words and unresolved emotions.
Mihir’s face was a mask of fury, his eyes burning with an intensity I hadn’t seen before. The get-together had been a whirlwind of emotions because Gaurvi and Shlok were here but it seemed that it was Parshav's light flirting that had pushed Mihir over the edge.

But I have been tolerating his irrational bipolar behavior for almost a month now, things have started getting a bit better now, but ever since he saw Gaurvi and Shlok, he was behaving weirdly, confusing me with what he wanted. Was he still pinning for her or was he jealous that Parshav was flirting with me? I could feel my frustration bubbling up, ready to spill over. I wanted him to clear everything for me. I had a right to know.

" Mihir, what happened?? Why did you bring me here like this?" I asked.

" Wow!! You are still asking me that? Why do you let him flirt with you like that?" Mihir's voice was sharp, each word a dagger, aimed at my heart.

Did he say all that out of jealousy or was he just taking out his frustration on me?

"Mihir, what's wrong with you?" I asked, worried.

He looked at me, his eyes filled with a mix of anger and hurt. " How can you dance with him, when I tried to stop you? "

" But why did you do that? It was a simple game. How could I refuse it there in front of everyone?  " I replied.

" Because I didn't like it...can't you see that he was flirting with you? Or did you also enjoy it? " He yelled at me.

" Mihir, stop it. You are getting it wrong. "

" I know what I am saying. "  He almost yelled at me.

" He is not serious about it, he was just fooling around. He is just Siddh's friend. I have known him since I was born, like I know you." I said. He got even more annoyed with that.

" Well, I don't care what you think of him, but I don't like him," he admitted.

" But why?? "

" He can't flirt with my wife like that."  He said clenching his jaw and fist.

" Your wife?? Like seriously? Since when did you start thinking of me as your wife? "

"Tami" he shouted, stepping closer until I could feel the heat radiating from his body. His anger was palpable, filling the space between us.

"You've been distant, treating me like an inconvenience ever since we got married. I've tried, Mihir. I've tried so hard to be the wife you wanted, but you've never seen me. You've only ever seen her." I retorted, trying to keep my voice steady despite the tremor of hurt.

For a moment, his face softened, the anger giving way to something more vulnerable, more raw. He whispered, his voice cracking. "I never asked for this. I never wanted to marry you... You knew very well that I loved her, I told you, I would never accept you as my wife. Then why did you marry me?? "

" Right!!! I should not have done it. Because you will never understand me." I said as his words were like a knife twisting in my heart.
