24. Just as a joke.

Before she went home that afternoon, Taylor went straight to Harvey's house. She figured that they hadn't had enough time to talk that day, and he agreed. Now that Harvey had his phone back since he practically begged for it, everything was going to be easier now.

But, Taylor was also going to stay away from home. Her dad was probably still a mess, and she didn't want to see that.

Just as Taylor knocked on the front door, Mrs. Walker, Harvey's mom, just came walking up the driveway.

"Taylor, it's nice to see you." She greeted as she walked up to the porch.

Taylor gave the woman a nice smile. "Thank you, you too." She cleared her throat. "Is Harvey here?"

"Yes, he's in the lounge, I think." Mrs. Walker opened the door for Taylor, and they both walked in. Thankfully, he was sitting on the couch in the lounge.

"Hi," Taylor whispered as she sat down next to him.

Harvey looked up and instantly grinned. "Hey." He turned to her. "Wanna go out the back?" Taylor nodded. "Okay, I have popcorn ready."

Taylor frowned. "Popcorn? For what?"

Harvey shrugged and just went to the kitchen counter. He picked up a medium-sized bowl of buttered popcorn and held it in the air. "Let's go, then."

"This is really good," Taylor said through a mouthful.

"It's from the microwave." Harvey stated. "Anyway, what do you want to talk about?" Harvey already had an idea, or a few.

Taylor pulled her bottom lip under her top teeth and cleared her throat. "Karate, I guess." She said with a shrug. "With everything that happened, I don't know what to do. Like, I still want to do karate, but just not at Cobra Kai."

Harvey nodded in understanding. "Well, is your dad still there?"

"No." Taylor shook her head. "Hawk posted some stuff on Instagram from the dojo and in the background sometimes I saw Kreese, but nothing of my dad. So, I guess he isn't. Plus, he looks like shit."

"What does looking like shit have to do with a karate dojo?"

"I just don't think he's in the right teaching mind at the moment," Taylor said as she chewed on a piece of popcorn.

"Right. I haven't been to the dojo, so I wouldn't know." Harvey said with a nod.

Taylor looked to him. "Do you want to go back there?"

Harvey scrunched up his face. "After what happened? No way."

"Why? You could go back and just see what's going on."

"What, and just be undercover?" Taylor nodded. "That's an instant no. My parents wouldn't allow it. You could go there, though."

Taylor instantly shook her head. "That's a no from me. I'm not going near those psychos again." She said with a wave of her hand.

"You won't have to stay too long. It's a great idea." Harvey said enthusiastically, trying to convince her.

Taylor sighed. "Why are you trying so hard to get me to go back? It's a terrible idea. I honestly shouldn't have brought it up with you."
