Taylor was taken to the medical room. The nice lady there said that her leg was dislocated. Taylor was thankful that it wasn't broken. The worst part about it was that the lady had to put the bone back in place, which hurt like a bitch.

"There you are. Sorry." The woman said as Taylor winced, eyes squeezed shut.

"No problem," Taylor muttered.

The woman lightly laughed. "Well, I think it's better if you don't fight anymore, yeah?"

Taylor opened her eyes, looking over at the woman. "What?"

"Pushing that leg back further could have broken your bone. If you go back out there, it will hurt, and you will struggle." Taylor huffed out a breath of annoyance, leaning back into the bed. Honestly, moving her leg hurt, so how was she supposed to fight? "You could fight through the pain, but that would be a very bad idea."

Taylor reluctantly nodded with a sigh. "So, do I get crutches?"

"Well, can you walk?"

Taylor slowly sat up, her legs swaying at the edge of the bed. She carefully put her good foot on the ground, standing up on that as she balanced herself, then put her bad foot down. The pressure on her foot felt exceedingly painful, but Taylor didn't say. But after she took one step, she quickly sat back down on the bed, a wince leaving her throat as she quickly shook her head.

"It doesn't look like it, no."

The woman nodded. "I think we have crutches in the storage room. I'll be back." Taylor watched her walk out of the room, leaving her alone.

Taylor cleared her throat, swinging her legs at the end of the bed, but was quick to stop since it hurt.

"Hey, Taylor." The sound of her mother's voice made Taylor look to the door. Her family walked in, Alanna instantly sitting next to her cousin.

"Hey, are you okay?" Alanna questioned, as she pulled Taylor in for a hug.

Taylor nodded. "I will be. The medic lady is getting me crutches."

"So you can't walk?" Marley asked, and Taylor shook her head in disappointment. "So you can't fight?" Taylor shook her head again. "Right."

"That's okay. You can just take it slow, and you can make the decision on your own, okay?" Laurie said softly.

"Anyway, you did awesome out there," Kade spoke up. "I wish I could fight like that."

"Oh, Kade, I think you get into enough fights already," Taylor said with a small chuckle.

All of a sudden, someone cleared their throat by the door, and everyone looked towards the sound to see Johnny awkwardly standing by the door, arms crossed as he watched everyone's interaction.

"Hey." Johnny muttered, quickly glancing over at Laurie before looking back at Taylor.

Marley rolled her eyes, leaning against the wall, not even sparing a look in Johnny's direction. But Johnny couldn't care less. He didn't even notice Marley was there at first.

"Hi, Dad," Taylor said, giving Johnny a small wave.

"Are you alright?" He asked, not moving from the door.

Taylor shrugged, feeling uncomfortable because of the awkward silence. "I don't know. I dislocated my leg. It's luckily not broken."

"Yeah, luckily. There's a small chance that she can still fight."

"Well, if she doesn't want to, then she doesn't have to." Johnny said, cocking his eyebrows.

Marley frowned, finally looking over at Johnny. "And since when do you make decisions for her?"
