For the past couple of days, Robby had been teaching everyone Miyagi-Do. He taught them how to do their types of blocks, because that's all they really did.
"There's a reason Miyagi-Do is difficult to learn." Robby said as he demonstrated the blocks. "These blocks are incredibly precise. Each one is designed to overcome a specific attack." He walked up to Tory and got into a fighting stance.
"Show me wax on, wax off." Tory got into a fighting stance, too. Robby threw two punches at her, and Tory blocked them using the technique that Robby taught her to do. Robby gave her a quick nod before turning back around. "The more you learn Miyagi-Do, the tougher you are to defeat."
"Except for one tiny flaw." Kreese intervened, stepping forward from the side. "Their entire style is reactive, which means all their moves are counter moves. That means that we are in control. And we can use that to set traps." Taylor nodded at his words before looking back over at Robby.
Robby turned back to Tory. "Show me paint the fence." Robby threw a punch at her, and Tory quickly blocked it, but without warning, Robby lowered down and swept her legs, causing her to fall to the ground.
Taylor gasped lightly as she watched Tory fall to the ground. Robby stood up and looked down at her. "Sorry. Just part of the lesson." He said with a small smirk, but Tory was obviously feeling bitter in that moment. She grabbed Robby's arm, flipped him over. Taylor gasped again as Tory towered over her brother, her fist hovering over his face.
"Enough!" Kreese called out. "Nichols, in my office. Continue the lesson." Tory finally let go of Robby before she got up and stormed into Kreese' office.
Taylor rushed over to Robby and hoisted him up from the ground. "Do you know what that was about?" Robby questioned as he patted down his gi.
Taylor shook her head, looking back at the office. "No, I have no idea."

After the lesson was over, Robby went into the back room to where he was supposedly living now. Before leaving the dojo, Taylor followed him.
"Hey, Robby." She said, leaning against the doorframe. "That was a good lesson."
Robby turned around and gave her a smile. "Thanks. You were good out there, too."
Taylor lightly chuckled, looking around the room. "So, are you living here now or something?"
"No." Robby shrugged. "I don't know. I don't have anywhere else to stay, so I figured that I'd crash here for a bit."
"Right... right. Is your mom still in rehab?"
Robby shook his head. "No, not anymore. But, uh, I don't really wanna go back there right now. Plus, since I'm a student here, then staying here is very helpful — I'm early every day."
"That's a valid reason." Taylor grinned, lowering her head.
Robby noticed her sudden change of mood and tilted his head slightly. "What's wrong? Did something happen with dad?"
"Kind of." Taylor looked up at Robby. "He wants me to leave this dojo, and why shouldn't he? He's basically a part of Miyagi-Do now. But, I don't want to leave. And if he doesn't wanna accept that fact, then I'm not going back there until he does — which will probably be never."
"I understand." Robby said with a nod. "Do you have anywhere else you can stay?"
"Not really. I stayed at a friend's house last night, so she might let me back in tonight. I don't know."
