Prom was coming up, and of course, Taylor hadn't found a date yet. She ruined all her chances of getting a date. Though, the guy probably wouldn't even want to go on a date with her, anyway. So, Taylor called up Quinn to talk about the deal that they had made.

She dialed the phone, and it rang for a few seconds, before it went right to voicemail. Taylor decided to try again, then again, and again, and finally, it picked up.

"Hello?" A voice other than Quinn's was heard from the other line.

"Quinn?" Taylor questioned, just to make sure.

"No. Not Quinn. You want me to get her?"

"Yes, please."

After a few seconds, Quinn got handed the phone and put it up to her ear. "Hello?"

"Quinn, is that you?" Taylor asked.

"Oh, hi, Taylor. Yeah, it's me. Is everything all good?"

"Yes, but I need to talk to you about something."

"Is it bad?" Quinn asked with suspicion.

"Not entirely. But it's disappointing - for me, at least," Taylor affirmed.

"Okay, I'm ready. Tell me."

"You know our deal about prom? Like, how we both have to get dates so we wouldn't be alone on the night?" Quinn hummed a 'yes' on the other line. "Bad thing is... I don't have a date. Before you say anything, I just want you to know that I'm not planning on going to prom, anyway."

"Now, that is bullshit. Because, you are going to prom. I don't wanna be alone."

"Have you found a date yet?"

"Yeah, actually. She's the one who picked up the phone."

"Okay, so you won't be alone. Easy as that."

"But I want to see you, Taylor. Just find a random person off the street. A homeless will definitely come with you." Quinn pleaded.

"Quinn, I'm not showing up at prom with a homeless man, or a man I barely even know." Taylor sighed. "I had a boy in mind, but I've ruined all my chances of getting him now. Literally. I regret what I've done, but he will never forget it. It's impossible now."

"Jesus, what did you do that's that bad?"

"I can't say."

"You know I won't tell anybody. I'm a loyal friend, unlike other people you meet. How do you even meet people who act like horrible rats?"

"I don't even know. The world is just toxic at this point." Taylor scoffed at herself. "I just want you to know that I'm out of the deal."

"You're coming to prom. End of discussion."

"I have a choice."

"You have zero choice. People might want you there, even if they don't wanna go with you as a date." Quinn cleared her throat. "You know what? Just go by yourself."

"If I go by myself, then I'll feel like a total outsider. Like, everyone will have dates, except me."

"That's okay, isn't it?"

"No, it's not," Taylor said, like it was the obvious.

Quinn huffed out a breath. "Fine. Just go with your friend. I forgot his name."

"Harvey?"

"Yes, Harvey. Why not just go with him as a friend?"

"I would... but I don't know where the hell he's at. He hasn't been showing up in class lately, and he sometimes doesn't even show up at school. I think he might've left Cobra Kai. I could be wrong, though."
