It must have just been a really unlucky day. First Taylor goes into the medic room, and then Miguel does too. Johnny and Miguel's family went into the medic room with him, leaving Taylor to wait with everyone else.
"So, Taylor, have you left Cobra Kai now?" Demetri asked, standing next to the girl.
Taylor looked over at him. She didn't really know the answer to that question, but if she had to say something, then it would be a yes. "Yeah, I've made up my decision."
"So you are?"
Taylor nodded. "Mhm." She hummed.
"Wow. That's a big leap." He sighed. "I hope they don't take it too harshly. Will you continue doing karate?"
She shrugged. "Maybe. Probably after my leg is alright. Right now, it doesn't seem too good."
"Yeah, you'll probably want to wait a couple of weeks until it gets better. I bet it hurt pretty bad."
"It did." Taylor said with a nod.
"Taylor, holy shit." Hawk rushed over to the girl, gesturing to her leg. "Holy shit!"
"Holy shit!" Taylor repeated, showing her leg to Hawk.
Hawk pointed at the crutches. "Totally badass." He stated.
"My dad says otherwise. He says that I have to at least put badass stickers on there so they aren't just bland grey."
"That's understandable." Hawk said, looking at the ground. "I feel really bad about Miguel. I hope he's doing alright."
"Do you think he'll come back out and fight again?" Demetri spoke.
Taylor shrugged. "I have no idea. I came back out and I couldn't even fight again, so maybe he won't be able to fight either. That means Hawk will be in the finals by default."
"Yeah, and then I'll have to fight Robby Keene," Hawk mumbled.
"And you'll nail it. I have high hopes for you."
Demetri looked over at Taylor with an arched brow. "Aren't you supposed to root for your brother?"
Taylor frowned slightly. "Why can't I root for both?"
"You can only root for one person." Demetri stated.
"When did that rule come to existence?"
"Since, uh..." Demetri counted his fingers. "Forever. The rule was around when the vikings were fighting each other."
Taylor scoffed. "Now that's just made up."
Demetri scoffed back, shaking his head. "The vikings did actually fight against each other."
"Yeah, but I doubt people actually rooted for just one. They were probably there to just watch the fight."
"Stop bickering." Demetri said with a roll of his eyes.
"You started it."
"Okay, crutches."
Taylor rolled her eyes back. "Okay, brains."
"Hey, having brains is actually a good thing, while on the other hand, crutches aren't." Hawk interrupted; Taylor playfully slapping his shoulder.

It was now Robby and Demetri's match. Robby scored the first point.
"Robby Keene is ahead one-nothing as he and Demetri Alexopoulos battle it out for a trip to the finals." Daryl said over the speaker.
Taylor watched as Robby threw a kick, missed, and then Demetri went in for a kick, and Robby ducked under. As he was just standing up, Robby landed a hit on Demetri's stomach. "Point. Keene." The ref said as Demetri backed away. "Score, two-zero. Go to your senseis."
