**AIDEN'S GOING TO UNI!?**

The Pandavas were now 17 years old, plus Aiden who was 18. They only had a few more days until Aiden left to LA to go to attend the University of California, majoring in photography. And so, the Potatoes had decided to spend these last few days with him in Brynne's penthouse.

"Rise and shine, Potatoes!" yelled Rudy, pushing open the curtains in Brynne's living room, where they had fell asleep the night before, after watching Lord of the Rings to Aru's extremely hostile request (she said she would electrocute the T.V is they didn't watch it).

"Rudy I have a wind mace and I am not afraid to use it," said Brynne menacingly, placing a hand over her face to block the sun.

"Unfortunately Bee," said Aiden, glancing at his phone. "Rudy's right. It's 11:30."

Rudy flashed them all a haughty smile, "You see mortals-" he stuck up his chin. "Prince Rudra of Naga Loka has saved you once again!"

"Saved up from what exactly?" asked Aiden, discontent clouding his features. Next to him, Aru groaned and shifted uncomfortably against his shoulder.

His black shirt that read "Star Wars" in faded letters was stained white from Aru's drool, but Aiden didn't seen to mind as he gently stroked her cheek.

"Shah get up," said Aiden, his voice gentle.

"Wow." deadpanned Rudy. "You can afford to be nice to your girlfriend, but not your cousin who's literally a prince? Wow Aiden. Just wow."

Aiden scowled.

"All of us should drink water!" exclaimed Mini as she walked to the kitchen. "Dehydration is very serious and drinking water first thing in the morning can prevent kidney stones, which is very serious."

"What's a kidney stone?" asked Rudy, trailing behind her. "Is it when you swallow a rock and it ends up in your kidneys?"

Mini sighed, "Not exactly..."

As the morning went on, Brynne made her luxurious egg sandwiches for breakfast and Aru eventually got up, receiving a large scolding from Mini about sleeping in and how it isn't the best for your body.

"And that's why you should be getting up earlier," Mini concluded, pushing her glasses up.

"Mini I'm going to be getting up at 6 in two weeks for school. Why can't I just sleep in now?" Aru wailed, sitting at the dining table next to Aiden.

Mini harrumphed, taking a seat.

"6 egg sandwiches coming up!" exclaimed Brynne, balancing three plates on both arms.

If the twins were here, it would be 8, but they had gone on vacation with their extended family, and said bye to Aiden before their trip, as they weren't going to be seeing him soon.

"Did everyone wash their hands?" asked Mini. She received nods and "mhm"'s from across the table and she smiled.

"Brynne, your egg sandwiches are amazing!" said Hira, taking a large bite out of the sandwich.

"I know," said Brynne, a touch of blush on her cheeks.

Seems like Hira made your day, Bee, said Aru though the mindlink.

The slight blush on Brynne's cheeks darkened as she glared fiercely at Aru. Mini giggled slightly, and Aru just smirked.

Aiden looked between the three sisters and rolled his eyes, muttering something under his breath, which oddly sounded like "The Pandava mind link can go too far sometimes."

"What was that, Wifey?" Aru gingerly asked.

"Nothing." said Aiden, turning back to his sandwich.

Aru gave her boyfriend a lopsided smile, "Snob."

Aiden smirked back, "Troll."

Later that day, Brynne and Hira went out to buy ingredients for Brynne's lasagna, and Mini wanted to get a few books, so Rudy accompanied her to the local library. Aru had fallen asleep again, much to Mini's discontent. Aiden stayed behind, using the excuse to edit photos, but they all knew that it was to stay with Aru.

Aru woke up in one of the few guest bedrooms in Brynne's penthouse and unusually, the whole place was eerily quiet. Aru noticed that this guest bedroom had bright teal coloured walls and fancy geometric cabinets. She let out an exhale and got up, cringing when her bare feet hit the cold wood floor.

Aru walked to the living room where she saw Aiden, editing photos.

What if I scare him? She thought.

Aru smirked and tiptoed to the couch, until she was right behind Aiden. Aru bent down, her mouth to his left ear.

Her breath fanned against his curls, "Boo." Aru saw his broad shoulders tense before turning around to face her.

"You're not sly, Shah," deadpanned Aiden.

Aru rolled her eyes, plopping down on the couch with him. "Admit it, you were scared for a second,"

Aiden smirked at her. His features were beautifully illuminated by the afternoon sun that shot through the big windows in rays. Aiden's dusky eyes had an ember glow, and his sandy skin brightened. Aru could feel her cheeks burn as she hastily looked away.

"There something on my face?" Aiden innocently asked.

"Leave me alone," grumbled Aru. He stared at Aru for a good second and burst out laughing.

"I see how it is," said Aiden, turning back to his laptop.

"Hey! It's not my fault that you're-" Aru stopped herself and looked away, the blush on her cheeks darkening.

"That I'm?" asked Aiden, smirking.

Aru mumbled a curse and glared harshly at Aiden. But the more she glared, the more she realised that she wouldn't be able to see him as he was moving across the state.

Aru eventually turned away, putting her hands to her cheek, hating the warmth on them. She heard Aiden shut his laptop, and soon enough, a warm hand wrapped around her waist, pulling Aru into an embrace. She smiled, resting her head on his shoulder, hoping to stay like this forever.

Aru didn't know, but a tear dropped onto Aiden's shirt.

"Shah?" he asked, looking at her.

Aru quickly swiped at her eyes, "Hm?"

Aiden's lips pressed into a line, "I don't want to leave either Aru," he said, pulling away.

Aru faltered, Then why go?

Aiden sighed, bringing his right hand to rest upon Aru's cheek.

She softened into his touch, "What if it doesn't work out?"

Aiden looked confused. "If what doesn't work out?"

"This," said Aru, gesturing to both of them. "What if we don't work out?"

A dark look overcame Aiden's features. "We'll make it work out."

"But-" "Aru you're the only person I can love like this." He slipped her hand into his own.

Aru sighed, uneasy. What would happen if she and Aiden broke up? Is long distance going to be okay? Vajra, now a bracelet, sent warm tendrils of electricity up her arm to make her feel better.

Suddenly, Aiden kissed her. It almost felt exactly like the kiss they shared at Nidra's realm 2 years ago.

Warmth flooded Aru's insides and her stomach felt like Swedish fish. Aiden looked her directly in the eye and smiled.

He was right.

They were going to make it work out.
