Aiden had many things to say to Aru.
He wanted to say he was sorry for acting like a jerk, that he loved her, that he would do anything for her, and that he would die for her.
Aiden stared out of his window that faced Aru's unoccupied room.
Kara and Aru were placed in Mini and Brynne's guardians care as Krithika was missing, so no one was there.
He could distinctly see her walls, pastel yellow covered in posters from movies like the Lord of the Rings, the Lion King, Lilo and Stitch, and many more.
Aiden missed her.
He hated the fact that there was a gap between them, even though he created it. But whenever he saw her, he couldn't think straight.
Avoiding Aru probably wasn't the best decision, but he's in too deep to stop now.
So, Aiden cleaned out an empty turmeric jar and started writing all the things he wanted to say to her.

I love you, I'm sorry.
He folded the little paper into a star and put it in the clear glass jar. Aiden looked at the more than empty jar with one little star inside and knew that by the end of his time, that jar would be full of things he wanted to say.

"What's this?" asked Aru an amused smile on her face.
Aiden felt his cheeks burn and scratched the back of his neck, handing her a jar. "It's for you."
"Yeah, but what is it?" asked Aru.
"Just look at it when you get home." said Aiden. "It's worth it, I promise."
That night when Aru got home, she sat the jar on her desk and stared at it quizzically. The jar was a clear glass, filled to the brim with what looked like paper stars, stacked neatly on top of eachother. The lid was a bright gold, shut tight.
Aru stared and stared, before using all her strength to open the jar.
After a few minutes of grunting, hammering and using her teeth to get the jar open, Aru opened it.
She looked at the open jar, a smile coming to her face.
You've done it again, Aru Shah, she thought. You just opened a jar without anyone's help.
She looked at the white paper stars, picking one up. Aru held it in her palm and admired the craft; did Aiden make this?
She looked at the rest of the jar.
There were so many in there. How much time did it take?
Aru gently opened the star, careful not to tear it.

You're a mess of gorgeous chaos.
What?
She looked at the writing on the paper, then at the jar, then back at the paper. Aru picked up another star and unravelled it:

I want to love you. But I'm too scared to.
