They had reached the airport and Malini kissed Aiden on the forehead, "Be safe, okay Aiden?"

"I will mom, take care."

"I will, darling."

Next, Malini walked up to Aru and gave her a light hug. "Take care, Aru,"

The two walked through airport security, got their passports checked and were finally off to go, but they still had to wait 30 minutes.

Aru groaned, "Do we need to sit here for thirty minutes?"

"Yes, Shah," Aiden said, fiddling with Shadowfax.

"Wifey," said Aru.

"Hm?"

"Is shadowfax hungry? I'm sorry Shadowfax, we don't have food. NOW TALK TO ME PLEASE."

Aiden laughed. "Don't be rude to Shadowfax, Aru."

Aru rolled her eyes. "What am I supposed to do if I'm bored, and the only person with me is talking to a camera."

Aiden set Shadowfax down, "So what do you want me to say?"

"I don't know," Aru said.

Aiden rolled his eyes and started fiddling with Shadowfax again.

"So what do I need to know about Annette and your dad?" Aru asked. She didn't know if she was supposed to ask a question like that, or if it would offend Aiden.

"Personality wise, Annette isn't bad. She's okay." said Aiden. "Doesn't change that fact my dad cheated with her though," He muttered. Aru's lips parted slightly. "But either way,"

He shook that off fast. Aru thought.

"My dad is kind of minimalistic. He's also really..." Aiden drew in a breath. "Complicated."

The anxiety of meeting Aiden's dad was getting to her now.

What would happen if he didn't like Aru?

Would Aiden and Aru break up?

Aru looked to the side and randomly saw a samosa stall. I almost died because of those things, Aru thought.

"Because of what things?" Aiden asked, turning to her. And she said that outloud.

Aru pointed to the samosa stall, "I almost died because of those, remember?"

Aiden looked at the samosa stall and smirked. "You want one?"

Aru faked being disgusted; "Never!"

At last, the 30 minutes of treachery were finally over and the two finally got to board the flight.

Luckily, Aiden and Aru got seats next to each other, and Aru was glad she didn't need to sit next to random people she didn't know and they needed to endure the sight of her while she was sleeping. That would've been a nightmare.

"I call window!" Aru whisper-shouted.

"Whatever, Shah," said Aiden.

The two finally sat down, and Aru immediately opened the window to see the view of the white slate of another plane.

"What a great sight," Aru said sarcastically.

Aiden leaned over to see what she was talking about and snapped a picture.

"Did you really just take a picture of that?" asked Aru, pointing to the window.

Aiden chuckled, "Maybe."

Aru sighed dramatically before drifting off into a deep sleep.

"Shah, get up,"

"Hm?" Aru woke up to see Aiden holding a packet of wet wipes. "We're about to land."

"Oh," She grabbed the wet wipes and wiped her mouth, where she assumed she had drool. After she was done, she looked down at Aiden's shoulder, where she had laid, to see if there was any drool, and surprisingly there was none. Thank the gods.

And before she knew it, they landed in New York.
