**AIDENS IN UNI!**
Winter break soon rolled around for Aiden, and he was finally able to go back home to Atlanta. University in LA was kind of hard on him. He felt like he was away from everyone he was close to, physically and mentally.
"Yo Aiden!" One of his roommates, Oliver called.
Aiden stopped fiddling with Shadowfax and looked at his roommate. "What's up?"
"So, Scott and I decided that we should have a party before winter break rolls around."
Oliver smirked. "Nadia Lebrun is gonna be there too. I heard she has a thing for you."
Aiden resisted the urge to roll his eyes. "You know that I have a girlfriend right?"
Oliver's eyebrows shot up, "Really?" then his shock turned into a smirk. "Who?"
"She's not here," said Aiden. Oliver looked wildly confused, "What do you mean?"
"She's in Atlanta."
"So you're long distance?" Oliver asked, taking a seat on the couch next to Aiden. He hummed in response, fiddling with Shadowfax.
"Tell me about her," said Oliver, wanting to know more about his buddy's girlfriend.
Aiden felt himself smile. "Her name is Aru, and we've been dating for almost 3 years."
Oliver gaped at his roommate. "You've been dating her since 10th grade?!"
Aiden raised an eyebrow, "I've known her ever since 8th grade."
Oliver mentally calculated how many years that was. "You've known her for 6 years?"
"Yup," said Aiden, turning back to Shadowfax.
"Damn. Not many relationships last that long nowadays."
Aiden felt his insides warm up as he pulled up a picture of Aru. This particular one was taken when they'd gone to the beach in July. She was wearing a yellow sundress that complimented her chestnut-like complexion. Aru's long, thick hair was forced to be left out, the sunset making it tint red.
"It makes your features look prettier!" Nikita had said, and like always, she was right.
The sunset illuminated Aru's facial structure and high cheekbones. Aru's large eyes shone and she smiled her signature half-smile, half-smirk.
"Is that her?" Oliver asked from over his shoulder. "Yeah."
The thing he missed most about Atlanta was her. Everything felt dim when Aru wasn't around, and her chaotic personality would've fixed all of Aiden's problems. Even though they talked daily, he missed her. He missed Arundhati Shah and he couldn't be more glad that he was leaving this place for the holidays.
"Bro, you are smitten." said Oliver, catching the look in his eye.
"Shut up," said Aiden, standing up to leave. "By the way, tell Scott that I'm not going."
"Why?" said Oliver.
"I'm going home two days after that," said Aiden. "I need to pack."
"You're going to be fine!" said Oliver. "Do it for me. Please."
Aiden sighed. "Fine."
The next week slipped by real fast, and it was the day of the party which he didn't want to attend.
"Hey, Wifey!" Aru's voice brought a smile to his face as he picked up the phone.
"I saw the pictures you sent me," said Aiden, a touch of sarcasm in his voice.
