WARNING -- I WROTE THIS A LOOOOOONG TIME AGO SO JS BEWARE

"I found it!" yelled Rudy.

The Potatoes were at the naga prince's castle, and Rudy had just finished digging out a device that looked like it was made in the 17th century.

"Rudy what is that?" Aiden deadpanned, looking at the device as if it was a rat.

"My mom said that you can see a big part of your future if you look into it or something." said Rudy, examining the device.

"Yeah, right," Brynne snorted. "Give it here."

Rudy hesitantly passed the device to Brynne, who peered into its frame.

A few seconds later, her eyes went wide, as if she saw something totally unexpected, and suddenly zapped out of her trance. She looked up at the Potatoes, shock written on her face.

"I wanna try!" Rudy said, grabbing the device from Brynne's hold. He too, peered into the frame of the device, and went wide eyed.

What is going on? Aru asked through the mind link.

I'm not sure... said Mini.

Rudy looked up from the device and looked straight at Mini.

Okay that's it. Aru was trying it.

"Give me it," she said, holding her hand to the device. Rudy passed it to Aru, his gaze fixated on Mini.

Aru quizzically peered into the screen, and so pitch black.

Wow. My future's of no cause. She thought.

Until suddenly, she saw a picture frame.

Two people. A boy and a girl.

The boy had deep chestnut skin, and brown eyes that seemed to glow amber in the sunset. He had a mop of curly hair, and was smiling casually without a care in the world. He was wearing a simple dark red sweatshirt and what seemed to be jeans. Aru noticed that he had a silver chain around his neck. It didn't look like ordinary silver though, as it glinted and shined bright. He looked like he was around 13-14 years old.

Aru switched her sight to the girl.

She was insanely pretty with a sandy complexion, glossy curly hair that stretched past her shoulders, put in a ponytail. She was wearing a bright red sweater, unzipped to reveal a shirt, and high waisted jean shorts.

What surprised Aru though, was her eyes, which made Aru believe she was of apsara decent. Though all the apsaras and apsara descendants she'd met thus far had eyes a colour of moonlight shining on water, this girl had eyes that looked like moonlight shining upon a dark void, making her eyes glow a luminescent grey.

At the bottom of the picture frame lay two names, "Abhinav and Amrita".

But how were these kids related to her future?

Before Aru could contemplate, the photo disappeared and she was back in the real world.

"That was confusing." Aru said, pulling the device away from her.

"I know right!" Brynne and Rudy said at the same time.

"Do you two want to see?" Aru asked Aiden and Mini.

"I'm fine, Aru," Mini said, backing away from the device.

"What did you see?" Aiden asked.

Aru opened her mouth to speak until Rudy stopped her. "You can't tell anyone what you saw,"

"Why?" Aru asked.

"Because you could be spoiling another person's future, and after a while you're going to forget whatever you saw, and if you shared it with someone, they would still remember." Rudy said solemnly.

"Forget?" echoed Aru.

Aru tried to envision the two kids in the photo again, but the photo just got blurrier, and the two kid's features (Aru couldn't even remember their names anymore) got cloudier, and the memory turned into a burning headache.

And it seemed like Rudy and Brynne were going through the same thing, because they had their hands to their head, and looked nauseous. Aru's headache got worse as she tried to remember who the kids were and what they looked like, to the point she had to throw up.

"Rudy, where's your bathroom?" Aru asked, her voice strained.

Rudy pointed to a door encrusted with jewels, and Aru ran inside, instantly vomiting in the sink.

"Aru, are you okay?" Aiden asked behind the door, worry laced in his voice.

Aru slowly opened the door, the picture was disappearing from her memory.

Now, the only thing Aru remembered of the memory was that it was a photo. She couldn't remember anything else, such as who it was, what they looked like, etc.

"Shah?" Aiden asked, cupping Aru's cheek. "Are you okay?"

"Mhm," Aru said weakly.

Aiden pulled her in close and dropped a kiss to her burning forehead. "You're okay, Shah."

But she couldn't help but wonder what the photo was, and what it was about.

Oh well, time will tell.

And it most definitely did.
