"I guess this is where we part," (Y/N) stated evenly as she turned to face Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu after they had left the mansion with the wisteria crest, her crow having told her to go southwest toward a small village called Kisenju while the other three were to head northeast toward Mount Natagumo.

"No, (Y/N)-san!" Zenitsu cried as he held onto her tightly. "Don't leave me!"

"Leave her alone!" Tanjiro pried Zenitsu off of her, but she could clearly see in his expression that he was just as sad to see her off.

"I'll see you all again," she said as she patted each of them once on the head, even Inosuke who froze at the action, unknown to her just staring at her while his cheeks painted themselves pink. "Maybe one day we'll all meet together as Hashira. Wouldn't that be something? Well, later." And with a wave of her hand, she walked away, not looking back even though the other three stared after her longingly.

    It was a tough goodbye.

"Caw! Caw!" Her Kasugai crow circled above her head. "South-southwest! South-southwest! Head to Kisenju where you will meet with Wind Hashira Shinazugawa Sanemi and Mist Hashira Tokito Muichiro!"

"Oi!" She yelled at the bird. "You damn crow! You didn't tell me that earlier!"

    "Caw!" Was her only response.

    She scowled.

Shinazugawa Sanemi and Tokito Muichiro... both who have been a Hashira longer than me...

I wonder how strong they are?

Scowling at the though, (Y/N) continued forward along the dirt path through forests, other cities and towns, and even having to run across a long stretch of empty fields just to reach Kisenju to meet the other two Hashira. Her pulse was already thrumming loudly in her ears as she entered the small town, people milling all about with rather dreary expressions on their faces.

It seemed that many had died.

Her eyes only narrowed at the thought.

"Now," she said as she placed her fists on her hips and looked around. "Where the hell are they?"

Of course, since they also knew that she was meeting them, they weren't very far away, soon enough their paths crossing. When she approached them, Sanemi's expression was a sneer that matched well with the intense aura he always seemed to have, the scars on his face and body only adding to the effect. Muichiro, meanwhile, had quite the opposite expression. His face was as blank as ever, his eyes a dull turquoise just like the last time she had seen him. She wondered if he displayed any other emotions besides that one constant one.
