After Tamayo released her, (Y/N) rubbed her wrists that she had sliced raw, instantly the skin healing itself at a fast rate that both Sanemi and Tengen looked away from, not liking the fact that it reminded them of her demonic qualities. Yushiro, however, crossed his arms over his chest and nodded, a ghost of a smile on his lips.

He cared for (Y/N).

He cared for her more than he thought he would. Seeing her like this, with her memories regained and back to her old self even if it wasn't much of a difference, made him all the more pleased.

But then he looked to Tamayo.

She had saved him.

She had given his life purpose.

But every time it was between (Y/N) and Tamayo, he always found himself drawn to the former, and no matter how many times he tried to break himself of such a habit he viewed as awful, especially since Tamayo had always been there for him, he couldn't. Maybe it was the fact that he knew Tamayo would never return his feelings that made him start to fall for (Y/N) who was such an explosive and startling addition to his life, something he didn't mind in the slightest.

"Oi."

Yushiro's violet gaze drifted to Sanemi's.

"Look at her like that again, and I won't hesitate to cut your fucking head off," he growled lowly, a severe chill rolling up and down Yushiro's spine from how forceful the threat was.

    He wasn't blind.

It was obvious that the others in the Demon Slayer Corps harbored feelings for (Y/N).

But he wouldn't let that stand in his way.

Before Yushiro could do anything however, another pair of footsteps just outside of the room drew their attention away, finding Genya standing there with a rather surprised expression crossing his expression upon sight of how many people were in the room. Then his eyes landed on Sanemi, and his whole demeanor shifted into one of fear. The Wind Hashira scoffed at the sight of the boy, knowing that he no longer had any business being there. Genya flinched when Sanemi shoved past him with a dark scowl, wanting to do nothing more than curl into a tight ball and stay like that.

"The fuck was that about?" (Y/N) demanded as she stalked forward.

    Genya almost fell over.

    "What?" She raised a brow.

"Y-You're free!" He blinked, feeling his face warm when realizing that it meant that she had regained her memories, along with the fact that they had trained together. "That's... amazing! C-Congratulations!"
