    There's nothing here...

Genya let out a sigh as he rubbed the back of his neck in disbelief, knowing that Gyomei would also be as disappointed as he was. He had hoped that by splitting up, he would be able to cover more ground, but he hadn't found anything. He decided to travel back to Gyomei and report back to him. However, as he meandered through the crowd of people, he then stopped short upon what he saw: (Y/N) and Gyomei together, talking, looking to be enjoying themselves. Even though (Y/N) still looked angry, her expression had somehow seemed as if it had softened. And it was because of Gyomei that she looked like that.

    Genya swallowed, fists tightening.

    He couldn't believe it.

    He would not believe it.

Pushing past people even more roughly, his eyes widened with desperation, he stopped before (Y/N) and Gyomei. When they saw him, they halted in their tracks. Gyomei could sense underlying disbelief within his young trainee, along with flaring chords of jealousy that couldn't be weathered. In that instant, he realized that Genya also felt something for (Y/N).

"So you're here too, huh?" She breathed out a sigh as she let her gaze rove over him.

    She didn't expect him.

She should be known though, since he had been training under Gyomei. The only reason she was so wary was because of the fact that he had been another to have confessed his feelings to her in a rather possessive and commanding way.

"Y-Yes..." he stuttered out, finding that he instantly reverted back to his awkward, blushing self in front of her.

    He couldn't help it.

    She was beautiful.

    Breathtaking.

Seemingly a Goddess walking amongst mortals.

"H-Himejima-san," Genya cleared his throat as he then turned to the taller Hashira, knowing that he would only be able to focus so long as his gaze wasn't focused on (Y/N). "I've come to report to you that I have found nothing on the eastern side of town. And what about you? Any luck?"

"No... but I found (L/N), here," he responded as he gestured to her. "And we were about to move to the spot where Kibutsuji was last sighted."

"I see..." Genya murmured, glancing at (Y/N) again. "T-Then I will assist you."
