(Y/N) trained with Gyomei for four weeks.

It was usually training her limbs by any means necessary, whether it be standing under the waterfall and carrying logs again, or an introduction to a new training technique like running through an obstacle course down the mountain to test her reflexes or engaging in combat with Gyomei, even.

Sometimes, though, she would train with Genya.

What was different with him was that he was the only known Demon Slayer—at least to her, that is—that wielded a western double-barreled nichirin shotgun. He also explained to her that because he could not use Breaths, he used Repetitive Action to compensate for it, a technique of repeating a set of words or phrases to assist in focusing on a given task properly and keep the mind clear by blocking out pain. Upon hearing that, she instantly recognized the term since Gyomei had mentioned that she had unlocked a key part of it when breaking the stone she had been trying to push.

Because she had focused on her anger, and because she could already properly use Breaths, she had been able to combine the two and draw out all of her physical strength that was apparently strong enough to crush a boulder with her bare hands.

When he explained that, (Y/N) recalled everything she felt during such a state.

Her body had heated up.

Her heart rate had accelerated like never before.

It was honestly such a strange experience that she kept a mental note of it in case anything like that every happened again, or if she encountered someone else who could explain such a phenomenon to her because when she asked Gyomei, he answered that he didn't know, having never heard of such a thing happening when using Repetitive Action.

But she knew.

She knew that it was because she had thought of Douma and let her anger get the best of her.

But she tried to make the best of such anger and instead filtered it into her training, now able to wield her sword—well, a wooden one provided by Gyomei due to hers still being reforged—with even more precision than before, able to move faster with the help of her explosions, and could easily think her way out of solutions quicker than one could imagine. Gyomei and Genya were certainly impressed with how far she had come in just two short weeks, and it showed with how often they seemed to praise her.

Or, more so Gyomei tearing up as he pat her on the head or Genya just stuttering out a few words of congratulations before blushing fiercely.

But it made her smile.
