"(Y/N)-san!" Shinobu exclaimed in worry as she rushed forward to embrace (Y/N) as soon as she stepped into the Butterfly Mansion, not seeming to care about how she kept trying to push her away. "I was so worried about where you were or if you were okay. Please don't leave like that again... I can't take such a thing..." Her arms soon unwound themselves from (Y/N)'s neck, her hands now gripping her shoulders in an almost desperate attempt to make sure that she didn't move from her sight, continuing, "If you ever leave me like that again, I don't know if I'll be able to continue living..."
(Y/N) blinked.
The fuck?
Just because I left?
Why isn't she more mad? After what I said to her... how does she still want to be around me?
I don't understand these fucking people...
"Whatever, insect," she rolled her eyes, her wariness however growing at Shinobu's possessive words. "Is Tamayo-san and bitch-boy still here? It's annoying for both them and me, but they need to modify my body again. Fucking Kibutsuji keeps overriding whatever she's done."
"Yes, they're still here," Shinobu's lips twitched, not too keen on leaving (Y/N) alone with them.
"Good, can you lead me to them?"
"Sure! Anything for you, (Y/N)-san!" She announced with a rather cheerful smile as she laced her hand with the girl's own and tugged her down the hallway of the Butterfly Mansion. "You know, I'm grateful that Tamayo-san is here. Because of her, we've finally completed the drug that can hopefully stop Kibutsuji for good."
"Oh, yeah?"
"Mm! I can't wait until that asshole dies," she turned to (Y/N) with that ever present smile on her lips, making the whole sentence creepier than it needed to be.
The two continued through the halls of the mansion until they arrived at one room in particular, Shinobu sliding the door open to reveal both Tamayo and Yushiro inside. A swath of chemicals, glass tubes, mixtures, and countless books littered the space, the two surrounded by such chaos yet looking as if they knew exactly where everything was and what it needed to be used for. But as soon as they saw (Y/N), they froze, a moment of silence ticking past before Yushiro sprang upward to stop right in front of her, searching her face as if he couldn't believe that she was there.
