"WHY IS SHE GONE AGAIN!?" Muzan shouted as he swiped his hands across the table that he was standing behind on the roof of one of the rooms within the Infinity Fortress, vials and mixtures of chemicals falling to the ground and shattering at the feet of the Upper Moons that were all assembled there. "Those Demon Slayers... how dare they take her away from me again..."

Muzan had been on a rampage ever since (Y/N) had been taken. The tatami walls and flooring was slashed through while some of the wooden platforms and staircases were splintered into dangerous shards. With Muzan breaking up his lab just then, glass now littered the floor in glistening shards.

Every Upper Moon dared not speak.

    Dared not think, even.

Those that were still there was Upper One, Kokushibo; Upper Two, Douma; Upper Three, Akaza; Upper Five, Gyutaro; and Upper Six, Enmu.

They all knew that Muzan's erratic behavior stemmed not just from the news of Upper Moon Four, Gyokko's, death at the hands of the Demon Slayers, but from the fact that (Y/N) was once more in their possession. Even though they all held a level of obsession over her, they knew better than to even think about their feelings at a time like that lest they be immediately killed where they stood.

"Why does she keep running? Why does she keep denying what is fated?" Muzan muttered to himself as he ran a hand through his dark hair, his other pressed firmly against the table.

She's mine...

She's mine...

I've turned her into a demon—into the most powerful demon second to me...

So why?

Why doesn't she submit to me?

His jaw clenched tightly as he then thought about how he had been trying to find her for the past two weeks, such a search yielding nothing but disappointment. And it was all because of Tamayo altering her body, the demon he had labeled a traitor hundreds of years ago when she had slipped from his grasp due to that Sun-Breathing swordsman.

Muzan growled.

He hated remembering the man that had almost killed him.

His eyes then widened.

Turning to face his Upper Moons, his expression twisting into one of sheer dissatisfaction at their failure to obtain (Y/N) for him again, their failure of annihilating the Demon Slayer Corps, and their failure of finding any information on the ever out of reach Blue Spider-Lily, his gaze then slid to where Nakime was kneeling. Her Biwa was propped on her lap as usual, her fingers poised over the strings ready to comply to any of his demands.
