A month had passed and today was the day everyone had been eagerly waiting for—Kim Taehyung's coronation. This day was not just significant for him but also a monumental occasion for the entire royal lineage. The palace was buzzing with activity, preparations were in full swing, and every corner was filled with excitement and joy. People from all across the kingdom had gathered to witness this historic moment. .

Taehyung stood in front of the mirror in his room, getting ready for his coronation. He was dressed in a royal outfit made especially for the occasion—a jet black hanbok embroidered with golden threads. The intricate patterns on his clothes symbolized the pride and heritage of his royal lineage.

As he looked at his reflection in the mirror, a whirlwind of emotions stirred within him—excitement on one side and a deep sense of responsibility on the other. He noticed his fingers trembling slightly and took a deep breath to steady himself. From today, his life was about to change and he was preparing himself for this new journey.

He adjusted his hair one last time and then put on the ring that symbolized his royal family. With a sparkle in his eyes and a faint smile on his face he said to himself, "Today will be a day to remember forever."

In the grand hall of the palace, all the kings, emperors, and dignitaries from various regions of Korea were eagerly waiting for Taehyung's arrival. Everyone was seated in their places.

At the center of the hall, a magnificent throne had been set up, adorned with gold and pearls, specially prepared for this occasion. On either side of the throne stood musicians, ready with their drums and conch shells, poised to begin their ceremonial music the moment Taehyung made his entrance.

Outside the hall, a crowd of citizens had gathered, eager to catch a glimpse of their new king. There was a stillness in the air, but within that silence lay a distinct tension, as if the entire palace, the whole kingdom, was holding its breath, waiting for the dawn of a new chapter.

The grand doors of the palace slowly began to open and with that, a profound silence fell over the hall. Every eye was fixed on the entrance. As soon as Taehyung stepped through the doors, everyone was stunned by his presence. He carried a natural grace that left people in awe. It was the first time someone so young was about to become king, yet Taehyung's face reflected a maturity and dedication to his kingdom that was unmistakable.

The sound of his footsteps echoed through the hall and with each step, those present found themselves increasingly drawn to him. He wore his carefully tailored hanbok with poise, and his walk exuded the dignity that would define him as a true monarch.

As Taehyung entered, all the kings, emperors, and citizens in the hall rose to their feet. There was a unique sense of pride on their faces, as if they had seen something truly special in their new king.

Taehyung, with a dignified posture, took his place on the king's throne. His face displayed a deep sense of dedication and a subtle, refined smile.

As Taehyung settled into his seat and looked ahead, his gaze was immediately drawn to Jungkook. Jungkook wore a white suit that seemed perfectly tailored for him, as if the color white had been made just for him. His appearance was angelic, with a serene and pure aura that captivated everyone. Taehyung’s eyes remained fixed on Jungkook as if, in that moment, they were the only two people present.

Alongside Jungkook, in the first row of the audience, stood Nefa, Mingyu, and Bam, but Taehyung’s attention was entirely on Jungkook, who shone like the moon in the dark night with his white suit.

Suddenly, the sound of drums began to echo from outside. The entire hall fell silent. All eyes turned towards the door. In the stillness, only the rhythmic drumming could be heard.

At the door, the Queen entered in her regal attire, carrying a large golden crown adorned with jewels. Her appearance was majestic, and Aena, accompanying her, also exuded an extraordinary grace. Aena looked every bit like a future queen, her royal dress—chosen by Taehyung—perfectly complementing her natural beauty and enhancing her regal presence.

The queen and Aena reached the end of red aisle, and the queen handed Aena the crown in front of everyone. The crowd was astonished, wondering why the queen was doing this.

Holding the crown, Aena bowed to the queen and then walked up the stairs to Taehyung.

Everyone was surprised, questioning why Aena was placing the crown on Taehyung despite the queen's presence and why she was performing this ritual.

But Jungkook, standing below, understood everything. He recalled how he had expressed his desire to crown him.

Jungkook wiped his tears discreetly and forced a fake smile, trying to remain composed.

Taehyung, seeing the tears in Jungkook’s eyes felt happy.

Then, Aena placed the crown on Taehyung’s head in front of everyone, and the crowd started clapping. The music played and people began dancing.

Jungkook continued to take deep breaths and lightly patted his chest to manage his breathing discomfort.

After crowning Taehyung, Aena took her seat on the right side of the throne, holding her head high and surveying everyone.

Seeing this, Jungkook ran away, with Nefa following closely behind. They both reached the room where Jungkook clung to Nefa as tight as possible and started crying.

"Hyung, I... I’m in so much pain hyung, what should I do?"

Jungkook wept against Nefa’s chest while Nefa gently stroked his back.

"Hyung, why is the prince doing this to me? He...he used to love me hyung.... I... Iwas his bun." Jungkook chocked on his words.

Nefa held Jungkook tightly and said, "Kookie, my brother don't cry like this. My child, don’t go into depression. Please, don’t cry—"

Interrupting Nefa, Jungkook lifted his head from Nefa’s chest and looked into his eyes, asking with great distress,

"Hyung, I will die someday for sure right? I don't want to live forever hung."

Tears welled up in Nefa’s eyes as well. He turned his face to the side and took a deep breath, trying to stay strong and offer comfort instead of crying.

Nefa laid Jungkook down on the bed and, with great difficulty, managed to get him to sleep.

It was afternoon and Jungkook had just woken up from his sleep. Finding Nefa missing from the room, he sat on the bed, crying. Suddenly, Taehyung entered the room, still wearing his crown.

Jungkook quickly got up from the bed and bowed before Taehyung.

"Why are you here in my humble abode princ-, sorry, Your Majesty?"

Taehyung smirked and cleared his throat

"Jeon, you have committed a grave offense. Leaving the hall during the ceremony is considered an insult to the king."

Jungkook lowered his gaze. "I am deeply ashamed for this offense, Your Majesty."

Taehyung chuckled. "Aren't you going to congratulate me?"

Tears welled up in Jungkook’s eyes. He approached Taehyung and bowed again. "Congratulations on your kingship, Your Majesty."

Jungkook raised his head, looked into Taehyung’s eyes, and said,

"You’ve become king now but don’t let it be that in your next life you’re not even able to meet our late king. Reflect on your actions, it might be too late if you don’t."

Taehyung stared at Jungkook and then walked away.
