Chapter 57

As soon as Taehyung appeared all of Kai's bodyguards bowed to him in respect and then fled to save their own lives. In the meantime, Nefa arrived as well along with Mingyu and Bam.

They cautiously opened the door, uncertain of what was happening inside. As the door creaked open everyone froze in place, holding their breath. No one made a sound they just stood there at the doorway panicking seeing jungkook's condition.

Kai and Jungkook were so engrossed in their conversation that they didn’t even notice the door had opened.

Jungkook was tied to a chair, his cheek swollen and red with clear fingerprints on his face. Blood was trickling from his lips but despite it all, a smile played on his face.

"You can't ruin me Kai. Nothing you do can break me" Jungkook said taunting Kai with a defiant tone.

Kai smirked and started laughing as he replied, "I've already destroyed everything Jungkook. That's why Taehyung is with Aena right now and not with you. And yes, I remember telling you before and I'll tell you again today."

Kai stepped closer to Jungkook and began to wave a knife near his face he made a deep cut on his cheek. Blood oozes out from his cheek. He just closed his eyes in pain but he didn’t utter a single word. Blood flowed from his cheek down to his neck, yet he didn’t speak a word or show any sign of his suffering.

Seeing this, Taehyung was about to enter but Nefa grabbed Taehyung's hand firmly. Taehyung turned to stare at Nefa. Nefa whispered into Taehyung’s ear "I feel like kai will confess his crime. You stay here for a little while and listen with your own ears."

And Taehyung unwillingly continued to look at Kai and Jungkook.

Kai touched jungkook's blood with his fingers and smiled in satisfaction. He took a chair and sat opposite to jungkook. His back facing the door.

"I’ll tell you everything from the beginning. It was me who kidnapped you during your engagement. Oops! You had to go through everything because of me. I'm soooo sorry jungkook. *He laughed* Then, on Mingyu's birthday night, it was me who raped you. You can't even imagine how much I was enjoying at that moment. You were crying, pleading and I was raping you. I wasn't able to stop myself. Anyway, I had a loootttt of fun. If I got the chance to do it again ahhh! It would be pure enjoyment. You wanna try? If you want we can start right this moment." He winked.

Tears strramed down jungkooks face. He was gripping the arms of the chair tightly. He was turning red with anger.

"Shut up! You fucking piece of shit I will kill you." Jungkook began shouting. His veins bulged on his neck due to extreme shouting.

Taehyung was shocked and couldn’t believe what he was hearing. His skin prickled with fear and he covered his mouth to make any kind of noise, trying to make sense of it all. He found it hard to believe that Kai could be responsible for everything. Was Jungkook really right?

He stumbled on his feet and was about to fall when Nefa caught him and steadied him.

"There’s still a lot more for you to hear."

And a first tear of guilt fell from Taehyung's eye.

"Tch, tch! You've a lot to listen my dear jungkookieee. Ok so where was I? Yesss... I was also the one who sent you to the Moon Club to assault you. You know, to make this plan successful, Queen and Aena supported me. But suddenly, Queen developed sympathy for you and I was angry with her, so I started blackmailing that old woman."

Aena hung her head in shame, tears streaming from her eyes listening her brother confessing his crime.

Taehyung's guilt was increasing with every passing second. His normally composed demeanor was shattered revealing a deep inner turmoil. His face was pale, and his eyes, usually bright, were now clouded with a profound sorrow. The single tear that escaped his eye was a small but powerful testament to the intense remorse he felt. His hands trembled slightly, and he appeared visibly shaken, as if the burden of his actions was pressing down on him. The guilt was so intense that it seemed to drain the strength from his body, leaving him vulnerable and introspective as he grappled with the reality of his mistakes.
