So this is what happened when I needed something to do while at my religious gathering, and I was like, I should really try to draw Javin.
So I did 😝
For those who are unaware of who Javin is, Javin is a character from my Both Sides of the River story, I introduced him last chapter. Javin is said 'yavin', like 'Gavin' but a Y instead of a G. He's a Water elf, also called an Eivar'Keza, and we don't know much about him yet. That's right, not even I know everything about him XD. Anyway, so far, he seems like a kind guy, with a Sea Dragon named Xinqlet (pronounced Zee-ink-let), and I hope this is a good drawing that matches my description of him in the book *did not go check his character description at all while drawing him*
Enough talking about WHO he is, let's SEE him!
I sure hope I don't sound too cocky or arrogant or like I'm bragging, but that has to be some of the absolute best hair I've ever drawn in my life, ever.
Not gonna lie, I was putting off doing the eyes because I was scared I was going to mess it up, but I'm still happy with how it overall turned out, though I could have done better on that left ear and those horns matching up. I can't and will never be perfect, though, so I'll be happy with what I got.
In alignment with the 'I had to do stuff' narrative, I wrote a lot of info on his character, which because I didn't want to spoil for any readers(assuming there's people wholly invested in the story), I just colored over it so it wouldn't be visible. The words beforehand are things already clarified in the books. Although, I will say, if you look REALLLLLLYYYYY close at the right side of his neck, you'll see gills, because he's a water elf. I'm kinda proud of that little feature.
Anyway, hope you liked it! :)
