So I started watching Sonic Prime, mostly because I liked the live action movies and played an iPad game for it as a young child, and thought the fighting animations were pretty cool. During that time, I came down with a cold and have been feeling like laying down is better than standing. So I was like, 'heck it, imma watch Sonic'.
And so I have.
I've also decided to make some Ocs, so I whipped up a trio in about two days for the fun of it, hope you enjoy.

Ash the Wolf! She's the leader, pretty cool, and those ribbons on her wrists can and are used as weapons, like whips. I don't know much about these characters yet, I'm still pretty new to all of this, so bear with me. Edit: She can also attach weapons and things to the end of those ribbons, having a set of items specifically designed for the ribbons in a bag thing she keeps with her. Also, coming back with something to try. So she had a brother, named Pyre, and they were sorta like a duo. Pyre was a master of deception and misdirection, using illusions and sleight of hand to get what he wanted, much like a circus act. Both he and Ash naturally had fire abilities but didn't know this. So Pyre taught Ash how to scrape by on stealing and trickery, and through some means, died, leaving Ash alone. Now alone and no longer whole, Ash falls into a darker mindset and becomes a more aggressive, 'villainous' person, before meeting Lizzie. Lizzie was a spy, sorta like a version of Rouge actually motivated by being a good person, to go and find Ash, and stop her. Instead the two go off and Lizzie helps Ash to heal.

Next up, we have Elizabeth 'Lizzie' the Cat. She's a bit more aggressive, but great at reconnaissance work and gathering information. Sly and silver-tongued, she uses her wits more than her claws, by ur those are pretty deadly as well. Edit: Lizzie has icy abilities, most notably the ability to freeze whatever she touches(not like Todoroki in creating massive ice walls and such though, it only spreads to an immediate object and doesn't grow on top of itself, more like a layer). She uses this to go faster, a layer of ice below her feet to help her slide and a special mechanism in her shoes to help propel her forward and evade enemies. No, they're not air shoes, but they're similar. Lizzie is a genuinely good person despite her demeanour, and ran away with Ash to help her cope over the loss of her brother, which ended up in the both of them ending up on Earth together(going off the events of Sonic X) and discovering Amber hiding out from people.

Amber the Hedgehog. So I only just started to finish Sonic X, and (spoilers if you haven't seen it) it alluded to the idea that Shadow isn't the OG Shadow. That's what gave the idea for Amber: they're (still deciding the gender) sorta like a rejected, early Shadow prototype. Sent to earth in the hopes the trip would kill them, Amber has lived for years. They changed their name and joined Ash and Lizzie, not for any particular reason but because they wanted to. They don't have the same skill set and abilities as Shadow, nor the air shoes, but the resemblance is there(their fur is also a very deep blueish color, not black). I deliberately tried to make the points to their fur angle up a bit more sharply, and then add my own color scheme and all that. Again, I still don't know all too much about all this, so this will probably be changed later on. Edit: so Amber officially has no gender. Mostly cuz I panicked and couldn't decide on one, they're a they/it. In addition, it seems to struggle with speech and concepts, but in actuality, Amber SHOULD speak fine. They were just not wholly developed when they were jettisoned in the pod, still requiring a few tweaks. Not only that, but they have illusionary abilities, similar to how Neo Metal Sonic can apparently shapeshift, if Google is to be believed, and mimic other people's voices. It just needs a Chaos emerald in order to unlock this, which will help further their speech and mental functionality. Cuz it sounded cool.
Anyway, hope they look cool! Fun fact, the earrings are deliberately numbered. Three people, each one has a certain number of earrings. Ash has three, Amber has two, and Lizzie has one, to show they're part of a group.
