Not that these were actually good intros to begin with, but let's pretend here for a second they are.
I have what a friend called the "sea duo" and now that's their name.
Their names are Calcifer and Charlie-Ann, Charlie-Ann because it was either one or the other and I didn't want to choose so I put them together.

The girl is Charlie-Ann, and they are either in love or just really good best friends, I can't remember. Anyway, Calcifer is feared and hated by the people in Charlie-Ann's village, but she was saved by him bcs plot and so now they're besties. Calcifer technically cannot leave the water, his body dries out and it hurts, but he lives in this big bay, at the bottom of it, and has a cave to hide in when he wants to stay and visit with Charlie-Ann.
They may get a story or a reference somewhere, but for now here y'all go; hope you like it!
