A mishmosh(yes I meant what I said) of creative things, from my pencil sketches and copied drawing to my digital artworks that I traced over and fixed to make my own, and then some AUs, Headcanons, short stories, concepts, stuff like that. All of th...
So since making the big monster thing, I've been working on making more monsters, just to give myself an idea of what I want with them. These are a few of the ideas I've had. I will forward this by stating that there's very few, if any, actual animals left. They were either brought along with those who escaped Earth, or were left to the same fate as those left behind. With that said, here.

First specimen: a monkey. I have no idea what KIND, but it's a monkey. It still has that shaggy sort of mane like the human ones, dark fur and vines, but it's also got a tail that's almost two times the length of its body. Now I'm not sure if you can see, but there's little triangles of bone near the tip, which actually fit AROUND the tail itself, instead of just being the tail. When it whips that tail around, those bony shafts will move, spreading out a little bit. You'd better hope it doesn't catch you with that tail, each hit cuts deeper than the last, and it strikes with impressive speed and precision. Among all the monsters, they're the most social, and usually stand on all fours at 13 feet. If it stood on its hind legs, it's closer to 26 feet. I'm trying to lean into a scarier, kinda horror-y feel with these things, but don't worry. Again, they ARE killable. It's just harder. You know when you've been playing a game for a while, and now you're pretty good at killing enemies, but there's still some that present a fun challenge, while aren't SUPER hard to beat? That's what they're like. Manageable once you know what you're doing, but near impossible for the inexperienced.

Kangaroo! Remember, it's not just America affected by this. The WHOLE Earth was evacuated. Also, zoos exist, so there's a few odd monsters hanging out where they probably shouldn't be. The Kangaroo monsters are usually about 16 feet tall, with thick, powerful tails that can cause tremors and if they hit you with it, throw you into buildings with enough force to at LEAST severely damage you. The Joeys are hidden in their pouches, blind and too weak to yet leave. The vines on these beasts keep the Joey attached to their mothers, too, so they're dependent on the older ones to provide for them. Their claws are unreasonably big, which they can dig through walls(even concrete) and dirt with. I got my inspiration for them from the claws on the Disassembly Drones in Murder Drones. They travel in little packs of 3 or 4, and can leap about two stories high(they can jump the height of your average house).

Deer ones! They're basically Wendigoes XD. No powers except for impressive stamina and power, their hands are just two deer hooves(I can't remember what they're actually called). The tail is a little nod to the Andalites in Animporphs, which looked like alien, mutated deer, like these things are. Their vines attach around the chest and curl up and tangle with their horns, sorta like a web, because I thought it'd be cool. They stand at about 14 feet tall, and are one of the more 'docile' species.

Uhhhh birb! This one specifically is a crow variant, but the bird species do tend to look VERY similar, the only differences being the beak shapes, primarily, and the two feathers out past their tails. Now, I don't think I did all too well trying to show it, but they have TWO sets of beaks, not one. The first one you can see clearly is the top beak, but it isn't the REAL beak. The REAL one is underneath, giving what I hope was a sort of shedding skin/moulting effect, like it's shedding its old beak for a new one. That isn't what's happening; I just thought it was cool. It's the size of a semi truck, so very big, and also has eyes on the undersides of its wings, giving it far more sight ability. The claws on its wings are dexterous, so it can pick things up and move them, crush them, cling or hang from them, and walk around like the Monstrous Nightmares in HTTYD, while still being able to hop like normal birds, too. While flying, the force-air-wave things(idk man the like, bursts of wind when something runs by you really fast...my brain isn't brain-ing correctly, I'm sorry) are powerful enough to pull objects off the ground, uproot trees, and shatter glass windows on buildings. Despite their size, they're remarkably light, able to land on the top of buildings and bridges one would think to be unable to hold their weight. The vines they have are under their wings, attached to the wings and sides.
I tried to make it a common thing that these monsters(the not human variants) would have visible skulls and bone, but for things like insects and arthropods, crustaceans and birds, it didn't work, so it's mostly only the mammals and creatures with skulls I could at least TRY to draw that I did that for.
