Conveyance of the bride

I am a sobbing mess, I've never cried this hard in my life till today.My aunties,friends and guests are trying to pry me off daada's arm but I'm not budging

"I can't belie-ve you let me get married w-when you made me pinky s-wear that y-you were my true love..a-and the only one who braids my hair" I hiccuped tightening my hold on daada  as they try to separate me from him

"Dinner is not the same w-when you are not here how can I live without you an-d and you are letting another man come be-between us! Daada please I don't want to leave you Dan Allah" I cried harder as someone yanked me off of him

"Daada" I cried trying to move forward but a strong arm barred my movement

"Wife please calm down" I hate him I really do

"This is all your fault" I cried slamming my fists into Aliyu's chest

"Ihsan Dan Allah kiyi hakuri kinji" Maami said with teary eyes, daada has already left,to where? I don't know

"Maami" I tried to hug but my restrainer was budging

"Abba take her, take good care of my princess.She is my only child in this world na baka amana" Maami said her voice cracking a bit

"In shaa Allah Maami" He replied, she kissed my head and left

Leaving me with my friends,his friends and a few aunties and guests

I don't know  what happened after that, all I know is that one moment I'm in our terrace the next I'm in a car and the next I'm sitting in an air plane seat to kano

This all sounds surreal

"Ihsan please you have to stop crying,you have been crying since we boarded the plane fa" Hanan said wiping my tears and I shook my head not being able to dissolve the lump in my throat

"Ihsan here take this" Amal passed me two white little pills and a bottle of water.I took it without any arguments too exhausted to complain or say no

10 minutes later the pills started kicking in, my head became hazy and my eyelids began to drop

"Maami.......Daada" that was the last thing I said before falling into a dreamless slumber

"Ihsan,Ihsan wake up we are here" I heard sadiya's voice as she shook me awake

"Where are we" I asked stretching a bit

"Your husband's house" Afreen grinned

"Oh" I said remembering I'm no longer under parents

I sighed as they helped out of the car

"Hope you are no longer angry at me wife" I heard his beautiful voice it's so deep yet so silky

I turned to him with a small smile "Sorry I acted childish" I apologised suddenly feeling shy about how I must have looked earlier
