"Sturdy offense with Sae leading the charge...strong defence with Aiku at the back with great vision and a great midfield that is once again due to Sae presence...Sheesh this team is getting hard carry by Sae" Nakada said scratching the back of his head.
Sae truly was the only obstacle in his way, Aiku may be another but for now, he was not an obstacle just a mild annoyance at best.
Meanwhile
"The strategy we practices during the final training camp isn't working effectively...is this okay Ego-San..?"Anri said looking toward Ego."Well to be fair it is to be expected as practice is just practice it won't fully prepare you for the real thing," Ego said nonchalantly.
"Huh, how can you be so nonchanlant"Anri said looming toward Ego."Because I know that we won't lose as long as no one in the team succumb to stress"
Ego said to which Anrie nod her head before looking at the back of the number 10 in the blue lock team. The name Nakada was writing on the back of the shirt and the boy seem like he was having fun...Guess they wouldn't lose after all.
He is on the field and that is enough to reassure her, it may be this child cheer confidence or arrogance but his skills were undeniable.
Nakada truly was something wonderful once he get his feet on the ball, she is sure that he could win.
The question now, will his teammate succumb to stress as this is the first time that they had played in such a big stadium? As Kick off started once again Bachira was the one to pass the ball to Nakada and as he looked at the U-20 formation he notice that it had changed.
The distance between the player closer to him seems to be a bit short while it seemed like he will be forced to always be in a 2 vs 1 duel.
Sae seems to be somewhere in the middle where he could easily access everyone in the field....are they hoping to stop him like this?
What a pathetic joke, Nakada passed the ball to Bachira who proceeded to run with the ball at his feet along the wing.
As someone came to guard Bachira, he proceeded to try and dribble past the man but he wasn't able to do it.
No matter what he did the man we always on his trail, Bachira instead decided to pass the ball to Nagi.
Nagi trapped the ball before immediately passing the ball to Kurona.
Kurona received the pass before he immediately pass it to Nakada who proceeded to drag the ball back using his feet before using the feet that dragged the ball back to kick the ball forward toward Nakada who peacefully trapped the ball. With the ball at his feet, Nakada used his quick thinking and agility to try and spot an opportunity to break through the opponent's defense.
The defenders closed in on him pretty quickly, but Nakada had a plan.
He dribbled the ball towards the left, his quick feet creating a deceptive rhythm that drew the defender's attention. They did however stay a bit away from him not giving him any space to do any significant but at the same time just enough so that if he were to do one they would be able to get the ball.
Just as they moved to block his path, Nakada swiftly tapped the ball with the inside of his left foot, sending it on a sharp diagonal trajectory toward the right.
The sudden change in direction caught the defender off guard, and Nakada used this split-second advantage to run past them on the left side.
But he wasn't done yet. With a swift feint, he pretended to cut inside, prompting the defender to shift their weight in that direction.
In that instant, Nakada planted his right foot and performed a lightning-quick step-over, smoothly dragging the ball back to his left side. "Bow"
Nakada said before the defender, now off balance, lunged for the ball but only managed to grasp thin air. With the ball securely under his control, Nakada accelerated forward, leaving the stunned defender behind. He dribbled with purpose, his every movement a calculated blend of skill and intuition. (A/N bullshit, he is just letting his body freestyle this)
As he approached the penalty area, another defender stepped up to challenge him.
This time however Nakada executed a rapid series of short touches, alternating between the inside and outside of his feet. The ball seemed to dance around him, a magnetic extension of his will. The defender, unsure of which direction Nakada would go, hesitated for a fraction of a second. (A/N....I wonder why)
That was all Nakads needed. In one swift motion, he used the sole of his foot to flick the ball over the defender's outstretched leg, then burst past them on the opposite side. With a burst of speed, he entered the penalty area, ready to take a shot.
The goalkeeper advanced to narrow the angle, but Nakada had one more trick up his sleeve. Just before taking the shot, he executed a quick "step-on" move, gently tapping the ball with the sole of his foot as if setting it up for the strike.
The goalkeeper, anticipating a powerful shot, dove to block the expected trajectory. But as the ball left Nakada's foot, it rolled with a delicate spin, changing direction slightly.
The ball grazed the inside of the near post and nestled into the back of the net, leaving the goalkeeper rooted to the spot.
The crowd erupted in cheers, amazed by Nakada display of skill and creativity. His imaginative dribble had not only dismantled the defense but also showcased the divine beauty of his play. The score was now 2-1, and Nakada was pleased with it.
He looked at Sae before he opened his mouth and said" Sae, guess I am winning after all"
Sae Itoshie did not reply to him and just sighed inwardly.
Guess he will truly have to try after all if he doesn't want to lose, not like he was holding back but guess it's time he brought out his meta -vision.Time skip
As the match raged on, the opponent's relentless defender, Aiky, had proven to be a thorn in the side of the attacking team. With his impeccable timing and tenacity, Aiku seemed almost impossible to get past unless your name was Nakada. Bachira however wanted to try and see if he could get past him,he wasn't someone that would back down from a challenge.
With the ball under his control, Bachira studied Aiku movements closely. He knew that brute force wouldn't work against such a skilled defender. Instead, he decided to outsmart Aiku with his creative dribbling.
As he approached, Bachira initiated a controlled sprint, making it seem like he was about to dart down the sideline.
Aiku however was a vigilant defender, reacted predictably, moving to close down the space and cut off Bachira path.Just as Aiku adjusted his position, Bachira executed a sudden deceleration, shifting his weight onto his left foot. This caused Aiku to overshoot his mark, leaving him momentarily off balance.
Seizing this opportunity, Bachira swiftly tapped the ball with the inside of his right foot, causing it to bounce off the turf and onto his left side. Aiku attempt to change direction was met with resistance as his momentum carried him forward.
In a split second, Bachira spun his body to face the opposite direction and used his left foot to nudge the ball behind him.
This unexpected move caught Aiku by surprise, and he had to apply the brakes to avoid crashing into Bachira.
With Aiku temporarily thrown off balance, Bachira accelerated, sprinting past him on the side opposite to where Aiku had expected him to go.
Now ahead of the defender, Bachira maintained possession and focused on exploiting the open space Aiku had left behind.
A/N extra long chapter.
