The sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink as Fiona and Y/N finished their dinner. The couple had enjoyed a quiet meal together in their cosy cottage, nestled in a clearing of the forest. As they cleared the table, Y/N's fingers brushed against Fiona's, causing her to smile softly.

"Dinner was delicious, my love," Y/N said, his unseeing eyes crinkling at the corners as he smiled. "Your cooking never fails to amaze me."

Fiona blushed, still not used to such genuine compliments. "Thank you, Y/N. I'm glad you enjoyed it." She watched as he navigated the kitchen with practised ease, placing the dishes in the sink. Even after all this time, she marvelled at how gracefully he moved, despite his blindness.

As Y/N turned back towards her, Fiona reached out and took his hand. "Shall we relax by the fire? It's getting a bit chilly."

"That sounds perfect," Y/N replied, squeezing her hand gently.

They made their way to the living room, where a fire crackled merrily in the hearth. Fiona guided Y/N to their favourite spot on the plush couch, and they settled in together. Y/N wrapped his arm around Fiona's shoulders, pulling her close, and she nestled into his side, breathing in his comforting scent.

For a while, they sat in comfortable silence, enjoying each other's presence and the warmth of the fire. Fiona closed her eyes, listening to the steady rhythm of Y/N's heartbeat. She felt safe here, in their little haven away from the judgmental eyes of the world.

Y/N's fingers trailed lazily up and down her arm, sending pleasant shivers through her body. "I love moments like these," he murmured, pressing a soft kiss to the top of her head. "Just you and me, no distractions. It's perfect."

Fiona hummed in agreement, tilting her face up towards his. Y/N sensed her movement and leaned down, capturing her lips in a tender kiss. Fiona melted into the embrace, her hand coming up to cup his cheek.

As they parted, Fiona couldn't help but smile. "I love you, Y/N," she whispered, her voice filled with emotion.

"And I love you, Fiona," he replied, his unseeing eyes somehow managing to convey all the adoration he felt for her. "More than words can express."

They exchanged a few more gentle kisses, each one filled with the depth of their feelings for one another. As they cuddled close once more, Fiona felt a familiar tingling sensation begin to spread through her body. Her eyes widened as she realized what was happening.

"Y/N," she said, her voice tight with anxiety, "it's... it's time. The sun has set."

Y/N's arm tightened around her reassuringly. "It's alright, my love. You know I'm here for you, no matter what."

Fiona took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing heart. Even though Y/N had accepted her curse from the beginning, she still felt a twinge of fear each time she transformed. She slowly stood up from the couch, moving a few steps away.

"I'll just... give me a moment," she said, her voice trembling slightly.

Y/N nodded, a gentle smile on his face. "Take all the time you need, Fiona. I'm not going anywhere."

Fiona closed her eyes as the transformation began. She felt her body changing, growing larger and bulkier. Her skin took on its nighttime green hue, and her features shifted to their ogre form. In a matter of seconds, the process was complete, and Fiona stood there, no longer the petite princess but the full-figured ogre she became each night.

She turned back towards Y/N, who sat patiently on the couch, his expression one of calm acceptance. Fiona's heart swelled with love for this man who had saved her from the dragon's keep and who continued to save her every day with his unwavering love and support.
