As requested by Mikexlrose! Male Y/N.
The bass throbbed through the practice room, its pulsing beat matching the rapid movements of Akali's body as she flowed through her dance routine. Y/N leaned against the wall, utterly mesmerized by his girlfriend's fluid motions and unwavering focus. Even in baggy sweats and a loose tank top, hair pulled back in a messy ponytail, Akali exuded an aura of cool confidence that never failed to take his breath away.
As the music faded out, Akali held her final pose for a moment before relaxing with a satisfied grin. She grabbed a towel and wiped the sweat from her forehead, turning to Y/N with a raised eyebrow. "So? What'd you think?"
Y/N pushed off the wall, unable to keep the awe from his voice. "Aki, that was incredible! The way you moved during that bridge section was just... wow."
Akali's grin widened as she playfully tossed her towel at him. "You're such a fanboy," she teased, but the pleased flush on her cheeks betrayed her genuine appreciation of his praise.
"Guilty as charged," Y/N laughed, catching the towel easily. "But can you blame me when my girlfriend's the coolest person on the planet?"
"Flatterer," Akali retorted, but she rewarded him with a quick peck on the cheek as she passed by to grab her water bottle. "You up for grabbing some food? I'm starving after that workout."
"Always," Y/N replied, falling into step beside her as they left the practice room. "How about that ramen place you like?"
Akali's eyes lit up. "Oh hell yes. You know me too well."
As they walked hand-in-hand down the busy street, Y/N couldn't help but marvel at how natural it felt to be by Akali's side. Despite her fame and the occasional stares from passersby who recognized her, Akali remained utterly down-to-earth. She'd swap her glamorous stage outfits for ripped jeans and oversized hoodies in a heartbeat, always more comfortable blending in than standing out off-stage.
At the ramen shop, they slid into a cosy booth in the back corner. Akali immediately buried her nose in the menu, despite knowing it by heart. Y/N watched her with fond amusement, taking in the way her brow furrowed in concentration as she debated between her usual order and trying something new.
"You know," he said softly, "you're pretty cute when you're thinking hard like that."
Akali's head snapped up, her cheeks colouring slightly. "Shut up," she mumbled, kicking him lightly under the table. "I'm not cute. I'm badass."
Y/N grinned. "You can be both, you know. Badass and adorable."
"Whatever," Akali grumbled, but the corners of her mouth twitched upward. "Just for that, you're buying."
"Gladly," Y/N replied, his heart swelling with affection.
Their easy banter continued throughout the meal, punctuated by comfortable silences as they savoured their food. As they finished up, Akali's phone buzzed with a notification. She checked it quickly, her expression growing serious.
"Everything okay?" Y/N asked, noting the change in her demeanour.
Akali sighed, running a hand through her hair. "Yeah, just... the company wants us to do this big charity gala thing next month. Red carpet, fancy outfits, the works."
Y/N nodded encouragingly. "That sounds cool. What's the problem?"
"It's not really my scene, you know?" Akali admitted, fidgeting with her chopsticks. "I mean, I'm all for the charity part, but the whole dressing up and schmoozing thing... I don't know. I always feel so out of place."
