As requested by RcMmCr! Fem Y/N
The Los Angeles sun was just beginning to set, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink as Y/N dribbled her basketball on the concrete court behind the Toretto family home. The familiar sound of Mia's Honda NSX pulling up brought a smile to her face. A few moments later, Mia appeared, still dressed in the tank top and jeans she'd worn at the market all day.
"I thought I'd find you here," Mia said, leaning against the chain-link fence surrounding the court. Her dark eyes sparkled with affection as she watched Y/N sink a perfect three-pointer.
Y/N jogged over, still bouncing the ball. "Hey, beautiful. How was work?"
"The usual. Dom stopped by for lunch, talked about the next race." Mia pushed off the fence, moving closer. "But I'd rather hear about what you've been up to all day."
Y/N caught the ball and tucked it under her arm, using her free hand to pull Mia close for a soft kiss. "Missed you," she murmured against Mia's lips before pulling back. "Want to play? I'll teach you that crossover move you've been asking about."
Mia laughed, the sound carrying across the empty court. "You know Dom would kill me if I sprained an ankle before the race on Saturday."
"Come on, Toretto. Live a little." Y/N spun the ball on her finger, showing off. "I promise to go easy on you."
"That's what you said last time, and then you absolutely destroyed me," Mia pointed out, but she was already moving to the centre of the court.
Y/N grinned, passing her the ball. "That's because you're cute when you're competitive."
As the sky continued to darken, Y/N guided Mia through the motions of a crossover dribble. She stood close behind her girlfriend, hands ghosting over Mia's arms as she demonstrated the movement.
"It's all in the wrist," Y/N explained, her breath warm against Mia's ear. "You want to keep the ball low, make the defender think you're going one way, then—" She guided Mia's hands through the motion, "—quick change of direction."
Mia leaned back slightly into Y/N's embrace. "I think I need another demonstration."
Y/N chuckled, pressing a kiss to Mia's shoulder. "Nice try, but I know what you're doing."
"Is it working?" Mia turned in Y/N's arms, letting the basketball roll away forgotten.
"Always does."
Their lips met again, slower this time, more deliberate. Y/N's hands found their way to Mia's waist, pulling her closer as Mia's fingers tangled in Y/N's hair.
When they finally broke apart, Mia rested her forehead against Y/N's. "Stay for dinner? I'm making lasagna."
"Your lasagna? How could I say no to that?" Y/N tucked a strand of hair behind Mia's ear. "Though I should probably shower first. Someone made me work up a sweat out here."
Mia stepped back, picking up the basketball. "Race you to the house? Winner gets first shower."
Before Y/N could respond, Mia was already sprinting toward the house, her laughter trailing behind her.
"Cheater!" Y/N called out, chasing after her girlfriend.

Inside, the kitchen soon filled with the aroma of garlic and tomato sauce as Mia moved around with practised ease. Y/N, fresh from her shower (which she'd lost fair and square, according to Mia), sat at the counter, content to watch and occasionally steal a taste when Mia wasn't looking.
"You know," Mia said, layering pasta into the baking dish, "I've been thinking about Saturday's race."
Y/N raised an eyebrow. "Yeah? What about it?"
