The Toretto house was alive with energy, music pulsing through the open windows as the victory celebration hit full swing. The backyard was filled with familiar faces from the racing scene, the smell of Dom's famous barbecue mixing with the cool night air. Y/N sat on the porch steps, a cold Corona in hand, watching Mia laugh with Letty near the grill.

"Earth to champion," Leon called out, waving a hand in front of Y/N's face. "You gonna stare at your girl all night or actually join the party?"

Y/N grinned, taking a sip of her beer. "Can't I do both?"

"You're hopeless," he laughed, shaking his head. "But that was some sick driving yesderday. The way you played Johnny on that hairpin? Pure art."

"Thanks, man." Y/N's eyes drifted back to Mia, who was now making her way toward them. "Though I had some pretty good motivation to make it back in one piece."

Mia reached them, immediately settling onto the step between Y/N's legs, leaning back against her chest. "Are you two talking about the race again?"

"Nah," Y/N wrapped an arm around Mia's waist, pulling her closer. "Just discussing my excellent life choices."

"Smooth," Leon snorted, standing up. "I'm gonna grab another beer. Try not to be too cute while I'm gone."

As Leon walked away, Mia tilted her head back to look at Y/N. "Having fun?"

"Mm-hmm," Y/N hummed, pressing a kiss to Mia's temple. "Though I can think of a few ways to make it even better."

"Oh yeah?" Mia turned in Y/N's arms, a mischievous glint in her eye. "Like what?"

Before Y/N could respond, the opening notes of their song started playing from the speakers Jesse had set up. Y/N stood, pulling Mia up with her.

"Dance with me?"

Mia's face softened. "Here? Now?"

"Why not? I'm the champion, remember? I make the rules tonight."

They moved to a quieter corner of the yard, where string lights cast a soft glow over them. Y/N pulled Mia close, one hand on her waist, the other interlaced with Mia's fingers. They swayed together, lost in their own world despite the party continuing around them.

"You know," Mia said softly, "I was so scared yesterday. Watching you on that mountain..."

"Hey," Y/N squeezed her hand gently. "I'm right here. Safe and sound, just like I promised."

"I know. It's just..." Mia sighed, resting her head on Y/N's shoulder. "Sometimes I think about how crazy this life is. The racing, the danger, all of it. And then I look at you, and somehow it all makes perfect sense."

Y/N pulled back slightly to meet Mia's eyes. "You're it for me, Mia Toretto. The racing, the basketball, everything else - it's all just extra. You're what matters."

Mia's response was to pull Y/N into a deep kiss, one that said everything words couldn't. They only broke apart when a wolf whistle - probably from Vince - reminded them they weren't alone.

"Get a room!" Jesse called out, laughing.

"Not a bad idea," Y/N murmured against Mia's lips.

Mia smacked her arm playfully. "Later. Right now, you have champion duties to attend to."

As if on cue, Dom's voice boomed across the yard. "Alright, family! Time for the traditional victory toast!"

Everyone gathered around as Dom handed out fresh beers. Y/N found herself in the centre of the circle, Mia's hand firmly in hers.
