The sun was setting over the walls, casting long shadows across the training grounds as Mikasa Ackerman finished her daily routine. Her muscles ached pleasantly from the exertion, a reminder of another day spent honing her skills. As she wiped the sweat from her brow, a familiar voice called out to her.

"Still at it, I see," Y/N said, approaching with two steaming cups in his hands. "I thought you might want some tea."

Mikasa's expression softened slightly at the sight of him. "Thank you," she said quietly, accepting the cup he offered. The warmth seeped into her calloused hands as she breathed in the comforting aroma.

Y/N settled beside her on the wooden bench, his shoulder barely brushing against hers. They sat in comfortable silence for a moment, watching as the last rays of sunlight painted the sky in shades of orange and pink.

"You've been pushing yourself hard lately," Y/N observed, his voice tinged with concern. "Even harder than usual."

Mikasa took a sip of her tea before responding. "We can't afford to be complacent. Not with what's out there."

Y/N nodded, understanding the weight behind her words. As fellow members of the Survey Corps, they both knew the stakes all too well. "True. But you're no good to anyone if you run yourself into the ground."

A ghost of a smile crossed Mikasa's lips. "You worry too much."

"Someone has to," Y/N replied with a gentle laugh. "You're too busy worrying about everyone else."

Mikasa turned to look at him then, really look at him. His eyes were warm and steady, filled with an affection that still sometimes caught her off guard. In their world of uncertainty and danger, Y/N had become something of an anchor for her – a quiet constant that helped ground her when everything else threatened to spiral out of control.

"Do you remember when we first met?" Y/N asked, breaking the silence.

Mikasa nodded. "The day of our graduation ceremony. You tripped over your own feet trying to salute Commandant Shadis."

Y/N groaned dramatically. "I was hoping you'd forgotten about that part. I was so nervous, and then there you were, looking so composed and confident. I couldn't take my eyes off you."

"I noticed," Mikasa said, the corners of her mouth turning up slightly. "You weren't very subtle about it."

"Well, subtlety has never been my strong suit," Y/N admitted with a sheepish grin. "Especially not around you."

A comfortable silence fell between them again as they finished their tea. The sky had darkened considerably, stars beginning to peek through the twilight. A cool breeze rustled through the trees, carrying with it the promise of autumn.

When she was finished her tea, Mikasa slid into Y/N's lap and placed her cup down on the ground. She leaned into Y/N and breathed in his scent... he smelled like wood and amber. "Mmm," she moaned, wrapping her arms around his shoulders and leaving lazy kisses along his neck. "You're amazing, you know that?"

Y/N chuckled and ran a hand through her hair. "Yeah, I know... but you're even more amazing than me, and I'm lucky to have you." He groaned as she sucked lightly on his skin, arousing him more than he cared to admit.

But he didn't have to admit anything, as Mikasa could feel his desire as a bulge formed in his pants, pressing against her. She smiled and began to move her hips. "Uh oh, Y/N, what's this?" she teased.
