"W-What..?"
"I want you to think this thoroughly, Miss Seo," Jihoon's hand made its way to your waist.
"Stay away from her." Your husband's voice cut through the tension, making you jump as he intervened.
Jihoon scoffed when he noticed that Yoongi was staring at his hand.
"Fuck off, will you?" Yoongi snapped, shoving Jihoon away, causing him to stagger back a step.
"Mr. Min." You desperately called out, hoping to diffuse the situation before it escalated further.
"Mr. Min?" Jihoon raised his eyebrows in disbelief, "Your wife doesn't even call you by your own name?"
"Leave her alone." Yoongi raised his voice, drawing the attention of several diners who began to watch the confrontation with curiosity.
"Please, take my words into consideration." Jihoon ignored him as he maintained eye contact with you, offering a forced smile before pushing past Yoongi, running into his shoulder.
You stood there, bewildered as you watched Jihoon retreat upstairs.
"Was that Jihoon?" Hoseok and Seokjin appeared behind the two of you, a look of concern on their faces.
"We're going home." Yoongi suddenly said, causing Hoseok and Seokjin to exchange surprised glances.
"I didn't know he was here." Hoseok scratched his head, watching Jihoon join his parents once again.
"That's why we're leaving." Yoongi pulled you by the wrist, taking you toward the exit.

The entire car ride was silent but you could sense the upcoming arguments from a mile away. You couldn't wait to get yelled at the moment the two of you were home. The thought of facing Yoongi's anger made the ride feel like an endless journey, leaving you bracing yourself for the unavoidable confrontation.

The loud, powerful slam of the front door made you flinch.
"FUCKING TELL ME RIGHT NOW!" Yoongi harshly grabbed your shoulders, aggressively shaking you as he demanded answers, "WHAT DID HE TELL YOU?!"
"IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!" You shouted back, using all your strength to push him away.
"I told you not to get involved with him," Yoongi snarled as he pointed a finger at you, "Don't you ever listen?!"
Your mouth hung open slightly as you searched for the right words to make Yoongi snap out of it. At this point you were starting to feel like living as his obedient wife was more like living in hell. You clenched your jaw, your eyes piercing into him.
"I told you he's not to be trus-"
"WELL WHATEVER HE SAID WAS TRUE!" You immediately yelled back, cutting Yoongi off. Your lips quivered, the pent-up anger and frustration made you unafraid of standing up to your own husband.
Yoongi's furious expression remained, but he waited for you to keep going.
"He was right," You snickered, your eyes tearing up, "Maybe I should reconsider my choices regarding my husband."
The moment you finished your sentence, tears started streaming down your face. But you didn't end there.
"You think you're the only one suffering? I'm suffering too. I didn't fucking want this in the first place and we all know it. I'm tired," Your voice cracked as you choke out the words you had been holding back for so long, "I'm fucking tired of you. I'm fucking tired of pretending. You don't want me? Then let me go."
You shook your head helplessly as your cries echoed through the house.
"I don't care anymore. Just let me go." You collapsed onto the ground, bawling your eyes out, the weight of your anguish finally breaking through.
"Think about your parents." Yoongi gritted his teeth. You didn't dare to look up as you slammed your knuckles into the ground in a display of raw anger.
"Get up."
You heard your husband's command but you remained still as your helpless sobs gradually subsided into soft sniffles.
"I said—" Yoongi repeated before reaching for both of your arms, pulling you up, "get up."
You kept your head down, struggling to control your breathing, your hands still held firmly in Yoongi's grasp.
He lifted your chin with his thumb and index finger, his eyes locked on your tear-stained face.
"Go wash your face." Yoongi's tone was somehow softer as he let go of you before nudging you toward the stairs.
With a heavy sigh, you took one last look at him before turning around to head upstairs.
But little did you know, Yoongi's eyes never wavered from your every trembling step.
