"Do you usually barge into people's homes like it's your own?" You sat calmly on the sofa in the living room, your legs crossed as you observed Gayeong standing there, glaring at you.

"Where's Yoongi?"

"How am I supposed to know?" You leaned back against the cushion, rolling your eyes at her high-pitched tone, "Now, get out."

"Who are you to tell me what to do?" Gayeong raised her voice as she approached you.

You sighed in annoyance as you stood up, directly facing her.

"His wife."

"You're so full of yourself," Gayeong sneered as she provoked you, shoving you by the shoulder, causing you to stumble back, "Just wait until Yoongi proposes to me. This house will be mine. He will be mine. You, on the other hand, will be out on the streets living off scraps."

You amusingly laughed as you tilted your head, a smirk playing on your lips. You stared back at the furious woman, unbothered by her outburst.

"You can have his attention all you want. But remember, everyone supports my relationship with him because it was legally arranged. This house? It's my property. I know you're excited to get the same treatment, but don't forget... He can cancel that deal anytime," you leaned in closer, your voice dropping to a whisper as you continued, "Others will never see you the way they see me, even if you have the wife label. So don't think that you're entitled to tell me what to fucking do."

"You Bitch—" Gayeong shoved you by the shoulder causing you to stumble back. Without waiting, she grabbed a fistful of your hair, yanking it with a force that made you yelp in pain. You grabbed hers in return, refusing to let her overpower you. You delivered a sharp knee to her stomach, thinking you had weakened her but it only angered even more. Gayeong lunged at you again, her hands wrapping tightly around your neck. She pushed you with all her strength, forcing you backward until you lost your balance and collapsed onto the floor.

You gasped for breath, desperately clawing at her arms, your nails digging deep into her skin as you struggled to break free. Your legs flailed, fighting with every ounce of strength you had left but that only made her grip tightened, cutting off your air supply even more.

The room started to blur, your vision darkening as the lack of oxygen began to take its toll.

Just when you thought you were going to black out, you heard someone yell.

"Y-Yoongi..." Gayeong immediately let go of you. You gasped for air, your body shaking as you tried to regain control. The world around you was still spinning, your vision blurred as you struggled to make sense of what was happening.

You felt a hand on your shoulder, shaking you gently, trying to keep you conscious.

"Mira!"

For the first time, you heard him call you by your name and not Miss Seo.

You weakly nodded, letting him know that you were okay but your body wouldn't cooperate. You pushed yourself, trying to sit up but your muscles refused to obey.

"I'm fine."

You muttered, feeling an arm wrap around you protectively followed by the yells of your husband as he ordered Gayeong to leave.

A hand grabbed yours, squeezing tightly. You closed your eyes to fully focus on your breathing, letting Yoongi's heartbeat under your ear soothe you.

After what felt like an eternity, you slowly opened your eyes, the bright light from the chandelier above causing you to blink rapidly. You exhaled shakily, your eyes landing on Yoongi whose expression shifted from concern to relief.

This isn't a dream... right?

"I'm fin—" You felt your body being lifted off the ground. And to your surprise, you found yourself cradled in Yoongi's arms as he carried you to the bedroom.

"Let me down." You poked his shoulder, trying to get him to let you down but he didn't budge.

He set you down softly on the warm mattress and before you could utter another word, he turned around and slammed the door shut. The tension in your body returned as you watched him lock the door. He walked over to you, his expression now filled with guilt as he took in the red marks on your neck.

"Your neck." He sat beside you, his fingers hovering near the bruised skin.

"It'll go away by itself." You moved your hair to the front to cover the marks, hoping to distract him.

Without hesitation, Yoongi pulled you into another tight embrace, his arms wrapping around you securely.

And just like last time, you kept your distance, your hands pressed against his chest.

"Stop doing th—"

"Hug me back." Yoongi whispered into your ear, his voice pleading, "Please..."

"I'm not playing with your feelings." He continued when he noticed you weren't giving him a reaction, "I know what I did before was wrong."

"Mr. Min..."

You slowly began to relax into his embrace, the tension in your body melting away as you let yourself be enveloped by his warmth.

Your hands, once resisting, gradually moved up to his neck, wrapping around it.

For a moment, neither of you said anything. You rested your chin on his shoulders, still feeling a bit nervous but it was as if Yoongi sensed your unease. One of his hands gently moved to play with your hair, his touch soft and reassuring.

"Sleep here, okay?"

You hesitated for a second, but the soothing rhythm of his fingers threading through your hair slowly began to melt away your worries.

You nodded, letting your eyes drift closed as you allowed yourself to focus on the comforting feeling of his touch.
