Day One.
Ten days. They'll pass by quickly right? All you have to do is find something to keep yourself busy. You've always dreaded staying home anyway.
It also seems like Yoongi is doing everything he can to avoid you. Not that it's anything new.
He's been sending you messages, telling you that he has to work late and might even stay over at the company. At least it's now easier to breathe without having him around.
But as much as you hate to admit it, the emptiness of the house is getting to you.
You spent hours cleaning, organizing... even reorganizing things that didn't need to be reorganized.
You just kept glancing at the clock, realizing how slowly time was moving.
But then, your phone buzzed.

Park Jimin
Jimin: Hey Mira. It's been a while.
▬▬
Now why were you expecting it to be Yoongi?

Park Jimin
Jimin! How's everything going in Paris? : Mira
Jimin : I've been working nonstop. But other than that, it's going well. I'll be back in Seoul around this week.
That's great! You'll be there
at Mr. Min's company's gala right? : Mira
Jimin : Of course. See you there.
▬▬
A small smile tugged at your lips, as you felt a sense of relief knowing you'd have company at the upcoming gala. Let's hope this time you won't be stuck standing in the corner, watching the night pass by without really being a part of it.
But... would Jihoon be there too?
That thought kept crossing your mind.
If only you had his number, you would text him in a heartbeat.
At this point, anyone would suffice. You just need to get rid of this boredom.
But the anticipation of seeing familiar faces at the gala, of possibly catching a glimpse of Jihoon, was enough to make you feel a little more hopeful. Even if it's just for a moment.
Night had already fallen by the time you finally finished showering.
The steam clung to the air as you turned off the faucet, your skin still warm from the lingering heat of the shower. You slowly stepped out and dried yourself off with your towel, slipping into your nightgown before opening the door.
And there he was.
You froze, startled by the unexpected sight of your husband. He was standing in front of his closet, his back partially turned to you as he carefully undid his tie.
You took a deep breath, immediately heading to the door when he spoke up.
"Gayeong will be joining us for dinner tomorrow."
You paused, debating whether to respond or not. The urge to simply walk away was strong but you decided it was better to say something.
"I won't be joining." You stated, not bothering to look back as you headed down the stairs.
At this point, he's just doing this to fuck with you.
Because why would you even agree to be in the same room as those two? It was like he was enjoying rubbing salt in the wound, a constant reminder that you didn't matter to him and that you were just an afterthought in this arrangement.
But then again, had you ever been special to him in the first place?
This thought somehow still stung but you already made it clear that you weren't going to give him the satisfaction.
The moment you're finally able to leave this hellhole, you will not even look back.
And when that day comes, you'll leave this place behind.
ℳ𝒾𝓃 𝒴ℴℴ𝓃𝑔𝒾'𝓈 𝒫𝒪𝒱:
Oh Min Yoongi.
Make up your fucking mind.
"Stop bringing Gayeong into this."
Hoseok's voice echoed in his head as he sat on the edge of his bed, his hands clasped tightly in his lap.
Isn't this exactly what you wanted? You're supposed to be happy right?
But why...
Was it because the thought of Gayeong no longer filled him with the satisfaction it once did? No, it can't be. Gayeong has always been there for him.
But so has Mira.
