Whatever happened last night felt like a fever dream. It felt so surreal that it was hard to believe it was real.

The sound of footsteps approached from behind you, causing you to turn your head to check. There Yoongi was, freshly washed, looking completely different from the disheveled state he was in last night.

You quickly looked away, a flush of embarrassment creeping up your face as you went back to chopping vegetables. You pretended to be focused, waiting for him to walk away.

After spending some more time in the kitchen, you finally made your way to the dining room.

"Here," You set the steaming bowl of soup in front of him, "for hangovers."

You swallowed nervously as you felt his heavy gaze on you.

"Good thing that Gayeong came to help and look after you all night." You said sarcastically before pouring a glass of water for him.

"She did a terrible job," Yoongi sighed as he reached for the glass of water, "Was complaining all night. She wouldn't let me sleep."

You nodded, not trusting yourself to speak before turning around to head back to the kitchen to clean up.

"Aren't you gonna eat?"

You stopped in your tracks, your mind racing as you think of an excuse.

"I'm not that hungry. I'll eat when you go to work."

"Not hungry or just avoiding me?"

You slowly turned around to look at Yoongi who was leaning against the chair with his arms crossed.

"I'm not..." You shifted uncomfortably, your eyes landing on the homemade soup rather than  your husband as you responded, "I'm not avoiding you."

"You should eat. You'll be late to work. Don't worry about me." You added, trying to brush off the awkwardness.

"I'm not worried about you," Yoongi finally reached for the spoon, scooping up the soup before bringing it to his lips, "I just don't want our parents questioning why we seem so distant."

Your nails dug into your dress as you remained quiet.

"I'll come pick you up in the afternoon. Hoseok invited us to dinner at Mr. Kim's restaurant." Yoongi quickly changed the subject, yet his tone remained firm. You gave him an acknowledging nod before walking away.

Am I not enough?

"Glad you guys could come." Hoseok grinned, pulling Yoongi into a friendly hug.

"The restaurant's beautiful." You remarked, your eyes taking in the giant chandelier that sparkled from the gold ceiling. Hoseok's face lit up with satisfaction as he led the two of you to a table on the second floor.

You heard a lot about Kim Seokjin's restaurant. With its Michelin-starred cuisine and sophisticated atmosphere, it was no wonder the place was so famous. You could say that the entire place instantly lifted your mood as you entered.

"Look who's here!" A cheerful voice called out from the front, making you glance up to see a charming man in a suit.

After the three men exchanged greetings, Seokjin's eyes landed on you. You bowed in respect and gave him a warm smile.

"Glad I could meet you in person, Miss Seo," Seokjin returned the bow with a gracious smile, "It's a shame we didn't see each other at the Min Family's party."

You smiled shyly.

"Ah, Yoongi," Seokjin draped an arm around your husband's shoulder, "You never told me how beautiful your wife is."

You bit your lip in awkwardness after hearing Seokjin's comment. You glanced at Yoongi who was looking at the ground, his expression unreadable as he gave no response to his friend's praise.

A short moment of silence filled the air until Hoseok cleared his throat.

"Alright, alright. Let's sit down." Hoseok gently placed his hand on the small of your back as he guided you to your seat. It was as if both Seokjin and him were waiting for Yoongi to pull out the chair for you but you did it yourself, immediately sitting down.

You looked up, noticing Hoseok giving your husband a disappointed stare.

As you settled into the busy atmosphere of the restaurant, you observed Yoongi sitting quietly, absorbed in the conversation between Hoseok and Seokjin. Despite the lively chatter, you still felt uncomfortable.

"I'll be right back." You stood up from your seat.

"Oh? Are you alright, Miss Seo?" Seokjin's eyes widened slightly in surprise.

"Yeah just... need to use the bathroom." You chuckled awkwardly before dismissing yourself, heading toward the stairs.

As you reached the first floor and were about to turn the corner, a familiar voice made you freeze.

"Miss Seo!" You turned around to see Choi Jihoon approaching with a warm smile.

"Mr. Choi!" You responded, not realizing that you were smiling, "Didn't expect to see you here."

"I'm having dinner with my parents. The restaurant's beautiful isn't it?" His cheerful tone lifted your spirits, making you smile even more. His presence somehow made you feel a lot better.

"Beautiful indeed," you chuckled, noticing Jihoon's cheeks turning red.

"Are you here with your husband?" You noticed Jihoon's smile faltered, replaced by a look of concern.

"Yeah..." You sighed, glancing up to see your husband busy talking with the others.

Jihoon's gaze followed yours before offering a sympathetic nod.

"Actually...I'm really glad I ran into you again. I had something important to tell you but I never had the chance to. Well, now that you're here, I do." He scratched the back of his neck, his tone serious yet gentle.

"Yes?" You tilted your head in curiosity. You had only met him briefly at the party. What could possibly be so urgent?

"I don't want to come off as rude but," Jihoon took a deep breath before looking you in the eye.

"It's not too late to reconsider your choices regarding your husband."
